Chapter 5

Stiles POV

Christmas came at us out of nowhere. Malia is now 5 months and showing quite a bit. Everything has been quite calm, well for Beacon Hills anyway. Scott and I are still trying to get used to our parents dating. At first it was quite odd, especially when one would stay over at one of their houses. Something you never want to think about, is your dad getting laid by your best friend's mom. Although the thought of that sickens me, I am happy for them. Who knows Scott and I may actually become brothers. I love my mom and miss her everyday, but it is so nice to see my dad happy again. Plus, Melissa was always like a mom to me. Anyway, like I was saying before, Christmas is coming up real soon. It is December 21st and I still haven't decided what to get for Malia. I want to give her something special and meaningful, so Scott, Liam, and I are going to the mall to hopefully find something while Malia, Allison, and Lydia are going to the outlets probably christmas shopping also.

I had woken up ten minutes ago and have just been holding Malia in my arms not wanting to get out of bed. We were at the point in the pregnancy where Malia has to be the little spoon, her bump in the way and all. It took a while to get used to, but I absolutely love holding her in my arms. Malia began to move a little slowly opening her eyelids squinting at the bright light coming through my window. She turned her head slightly to look up at me smiling. "Morning," she said in a raspy voice. "Morning Beautiful, ready to get up and ready" I asked as she gave me a look telling me that no, she did not want to get up but she will anyway. We got ready for the day, now having a set routine. As we both ate the door opened revealing Allison and Lydia, not bothering to knock.

"Hey, are you ready to go to the outlets?" Lydia asked holding up her keys as an indicator that she wasn't planning on waiting too long.

"Let me just finish eating, unless you want me to starve my baby girl" Malia said with a mouth full of cereal. Lydia just rolled her eyes and sat to the left of me.

"Stiles, when are you and Scott leaving and when will you guys be back?" Allison asked me.

"Uhm, he should be here any minute. We probably won't be gone long." I replied write as Scott came stumbling into the house.

"Hey dude, you ready?" He asked me then gave a small kiss to Allison.

"Ya I'm done, lets go!" I told him as I put my dish in the dish washer. I grabbed my wallet and keys and then kissed Malia goodbye."

We took my car and headed straight for Liam's to pick him up an then to the mall. After I parked we all got out not really knowing where to head to first. "So do you have any idea what you are planning on getting Malia" Liam asked me as we all wandered aimlessly around the mall.

"Not really, I was thinking of getting her a ring"

"Like an engagement ring?!" Scott shockingly asked. "No not necessarily, more like a promise ring, that would eventually turn into the proposal after we graduate and have the baby" I said still unsure.

"I think that is a good idea, I can see how much you guys love each other. I probably will just get Allison some earrings and maybe a scarf or something. No marriage anytime soon, see I am smart and didn't get my girlfriend pregnant." Scott said jokingly.

"Very funny, I honestly think if she wasn't pregnant, we would end up together and married with kids. Obviously I wasn't planning on anything so soon, but I am surprisingly happy" I admitted.

"I couldn't even imagine getting a girl pregnant so young, at least you are 18 in a few months, doesn't she have a birthday pretty soon also." Liam asked.

"Yeah, she will be 17 in January. Which I will have to find another present for." I groaned at the thought, completely forgetting I fad two occasions to shop for. Her birthday was January 6th so I figured I should try to get everything today.
