Today was the day. The day I have been dreading these last two days. The day Cameron would leave.
I stayed the night over Cameron's house because this would be the last time I see him in a while.
We had to wake up early so we could take cam to the airport. I woke up and looked at the time on my phone. 5:43, I locked my phone and tried to wake Cameron up.
"Cam you have to get up or you will miss your flight." I said softly.
He groaned and turned himself around to face me.
"5 more minutes baby?" He whispered while pulling me down next to him so we could cuddle.
I didn't argue with that and began to play with his soft brown hair. there was a comfortable silence until his mom opened the door and told us to hurry up and get ready.
I got up off his bed and took one of his navy blue sweatshirts and put it on then put on my leggings.
I glanced over at cam and saw he was ready. I slipped on my sperry's and grabbed his hand as we walked downstairs.
His mom told us she was ready to go so we walked out to the car.
The whole car ride was silent on the way the airport, all you could hear was the radio a little bit.
Once we reached the airport Cameron and I walked out of the car waiting for his flight to be called.
"You want something to eat?" He asked, I nodded and we walked over to the Starbucks.
I got a cinnamon roll frap and cam got an iced coffee.
We started to talk a little bit but then his flight was called.
My eyes got wide as I realized he was really leaving now.
Tears started to escape my eyes and we got up. he hugged me. he hugged me as tight as he could and I did the same.
"Nor from the day I met you I knew there was something I loved about you. you were different than the others. and you didn't care what people thought of the real you. you are so brave, intelligent, kind, and beautiful." he said but stopped so he could whip the tears from his eyes.
"Nor I love you so much. no one could ever love you as much as I do."
"Cameron, I love you too and don't ever forget that." I said while grabbing his hands.
"Will you wait for me?" He asked. I'm surprised he would even ask that.
"Cameron of course I'll wait for you. will you wait for me?"
"Duhh." he said jokingly. I chuckled a little and gave him a passionate kiss. his lips were soft and delicate but this would be the last time
"Bye Cameron." I said as I broke the kiss.
"No, see you later" he said then I watched him walk away until I couldn't see him any more.
