"i'll be back later on, destiny your uncle is coming by to get some shit from the back office. If by chance you need to leave anywhere I left money on the counter and the keys to the benz are hanging up"

Mr. Jones was in a regular fit but had a scarf and beanie on

"okay daddy, love you" she kissed his cheek and walked into the kitchen

I waved bye and focused back on the tv, ever since last night I didn't think I could speak to him, of course it was nothing bad I was just embarrassed.

"girl what do you want to do today? i was thinking if you want we could go get our toenails done and have lunch in the park down the street." i nodded

"sounds good, now or later?"

she turned her head in a 'really bitch' way "now" she laughed and grabbed her bag

"oh.. wait wait wait I gotta get dressed" i laughed and ran to my room grabbing some spandex leggings and a polo shit

"have you seen my slides?" she shook her head standing by the door

"no but I've seen your eyes a few days ago"

"girl what?" i laughed kinda nervously because I was constantly looking at her father

"your eyes, looking at my uncle.. don't tell me you have a crush on my uncle bitch" I bust out laughing

she 'mhm'd and walked away back up the hallway "hurry up"

putting on my fendi slides I grabbed my wristlet and phone walking behind her

"let's gooooo" she laughed opening the door

coming face to face with her uncle

"where y'all little girls going?"

"to the salon, love you bye" we walked out and towards the elevator

"ahhhh I love the breeze" des had her hair out as she laid back on her yoga mat

"me too" i mumbled writing down my thoughts

"you ever gonna let me read what's in there?" she asked making me shrug

"probably not" i said truthfully she nodded understanding

I nodded and closed my notebook closing my eyes

"how are you liking new york?"

i shrugged "it's good, the weather just bipolar as fuck" i laughed she nodded "sorta like nc which i'm used to kinda" i said

she sipped on her fruit slush

"yeah I like it here, i like it better since my dad is here also, i always liked it here for real" I nodded and started to drift off

"come on, my dads back let's go he brought food"

sighing i stretched and got up "yay" she laughed and we walked towards the benz

"yeeehawww bitch let's go" she laughed

sitting in the car des played some aaliyah as we drove not even 7 minutes down the road

following her up the steps to the elevator I yawned

"did you not get any sleep last night?" she looked at me

i shook my head "no.. i was on the phone with my mom you know how she is" i told her

she nodded and the doors opened

hearing music and laughter we stopped at the door
"not the nigga throwing a party" laughing we opened the door and I saw allll types of people

"ayyeee des" a brown skinned girl walked over and gave her a hug

"hey sweettiieeee" she gave her a kiss

"solai, this is my little sister i was telling you about kimora"

i waved and smiled "hey pretty" she waved smiling

"she stays in queens with her grandma" I nodded glancing over seeing Mr Jones sneaking looks towards us

"dad.. we can see you" des noticed and started laughing

he walked over putting his arm around his 2 girls

"just making sure y'all aren't bullying my princesss" he kissed kimora's head

des pushed him laughing

"bye! you know kimora mean as hell" he laughed shaking his head

"that's true"

"aye girl.. come here" looking up their uncle was waving me over

walking over i waved he introduced me to some people.

"where you and des been?"

"umm the salon" i mumbled feeling nervous

i nodded and he laughed "why you nervous?"

"i'm not.. im just tired lol des had me out and about all day" I laughed and he nodded

we conversed more before Mr Jones interrupted our conversation

"jungle man.. leave that damn girl alone" i laughed and got up off the sofa

"i'm gonna go take a nap"

internally slapping myself because idk why i said that I walked away and went into my room and started writing again

i wanna pick it up but i don't wanna go toooo fast lol this been in progress for about 3 days🤣🤣🤣🤣
