Y/N's POV

I open my eyes and see everyone asleep, I go to the kitchen and fetch myself some water from the refrigerator ''BOOOO!!'' ''Aahh!! Niki!!! Cut it out!'' I said as I choked on the water I was drinking.

''Hey, sorry, are you okay?!?!" He said and this isn't Niki's voice... ''Yeah, I'm alright Jay....'' I replied as I looked at the person.

''I actually thought you were Niki'' I said as I offered him some water to drink ''so he scares you too, huh?'' He said with a chuckle and took the water bottle from me and drank up.

''What do you mean you too?? Does he scare you?!?" I asked ''uh... No, even if he attempts to scare me I won't even flinch'' he replied ''He used to scare my sis too'' he said with a low voice.

''I never knew you had a sis?!?! I bet she's really pretty'' I said ''yeah she was, very, very pretty'' he said with a chuckle ''w-was?? What do you mean?? Is she not pretty now??" Jungwon asked who woke up now.

'' you're up?? Were we being too loud??'' Jay asked ''oh... Um... No... Your voice was not heard at all, it was my sister's voice that woke me up'' he said glaring at me.

''Why you little...'' I said with a slightly raised voice because I was a little mad at what Jungwon said ''Keep it down, will ya??'' Jungwon said.

''Let's just go to the rooftop and talk.'' Jungwon said as he started walking out of the door and up. Jay and I exchanged looks and shrugged it off following Jungwon.

''So... Does your sis live abroad or something...?'' I asked ''no... No, she does not. Hey, remember that place where they were packing the drugs or something??'' He said looking at Jungwon.

''Yeah... What about that??'' Jungwon replied ''I used to go there often and that.. Cost me a life..'' Jay said with sadness in his voice.

FLASHBACK

JAY's POV

Yes, I'm a drug addict and yes I led my little sis into it too... well I got out of it to get Jin-ah out of it but turns out she does not want to. I stopped buying drugs and I don't know how's she getting them.

I was on the couch and saw Jin-ah going out "Where are you going?" I asked just before she opened the door "just gonna hang out with my friends, don't worry" she said without looking at me and I knew something was wrong so I followed her.

everything was going smooth until I saw Taeyong 'what is he doing here?' I thought to myself. everything seemed pretty well.. so I got back home.

JIN-AH's POV

I knew my brother was following me so I had to play carefully, once he left I asked Taeyong, my senior, and I might have a thing for him as well, for it and he charged way higher than before. "What?!?!? 200?? didn't you say 100??" I asked "oh.. well I played along, didn't I?? so I need the money for that too." he said.

"But I have only 160" I said making a cute expression "Fine then imma cut down 2 packets." he said "Oppa, why won't you give it to me for 160??" "o-Oppa?? I ain't your Oppa girl" "Fine then I'll just take it for 200" I said as I did not have any other choice.

JAY's POV

"I've been waiting for Jin-ah to get home, it's already past midnight and she won't even pick up her phone." I said as I sighed in frustration after a while she finally came back home "Where were you? Are you alright?? I was so worried"

she smelled different something like.... drugs "where have you been getting them??" I asked "why do you want it too??" she asked "Just shut the fuck up and go to your room" I yelled "okay" she said and slammed the door.

2 WEEKS LATER

she's been doing this and I got to know that the person selling them was Taeyong, I mean how couldn't i find out, his dad was the one who was selling me the drugs.

i saw Jin-ah going out again "where are you going again??" I asked to get ignored by her and she walked out "WHY WON'T YOU STOP??!!" I yelled "because I need it!! just mind your own business and leave me alone!!!" she yelled back at me

"mind my own business?? I am your brother, you need to listen to me-" I got cut off "brother?? my ass" she said with a scoff which really made me angry, and landed a slap right on her face.

she looked at me with her furious eyes and just turned and left with her so-called friends and Sunghoon came out who probably heard us.

at this point, I can't even look at him. I avoided all of my friends because I was a bad influence and I didn't want them into stuff like me.

"J-Jay..?" he called I just looked at him and went inside like nothing happened. after a while Jake just came inside my house without even knocking first.

"JAY??!?!" he yelled "What are you doing here??" I asked "look, we're just worried-" I cut him off "why didn't you knock first??" I said "what..? I never knock... is something wrong??" he asked.

"EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING IS WRONG IN MY LIFE" I broke down "I HATE MY DAD AND MY MOM FOR NOT BEING WITH US AND I HATE MY SISTER, MY FRIENDS, AND I HATE MYSELF. NOW IF YOU COULD LEAVE ME ALONE I HAVE SOMETHING TO TAKE CARE OF" I yelled and went back to Jin-ah's room to look for any other drugs that she had hidden.

Jake took a peak and he knew what it was just by looking at it "Jay... we just want to help you... tell us, so that we can help you-" "I don't need any help, just get out of my house" I said in a cold tone.

"Stop being such an ass, Jay, Sunghoon asked me to check up on you and I have to say you have been acting really strange these days, and I get it okay?? we're your friends you can tell us anything that's bothering you, we won't judge you, that is what friends are for. we can rely on each other." he said.

"well, I don't need anyone to rely on, and if that's what friends are for then I don't need any." I said fighting back the tears which had already formed in my eyes. "Wow Jay... fine then... you just lost the two friends who trusted you and cared about you the most." he said and walked out.
