Y/N POV

"Noona!! Help.. this is too heavy for me to carry!!!" Jungwonie whined, I sighed and go help him out "you're too weak jungwon ah" I teased "No I'm not!!" he stated, I let go of the box he was holding and he trips "ahhhh!!" I quickly hold the box and chuckle "You are weak" "Noonaaa!! I hate you so much!! ugh!" he said frustrated and goes to dad "Appa!!!! look at noona!! she's so bad" he complained and I rolled my eyes, then my dad comes and takes the box from my hand "I'll take it" he said with a smile "No I-it's fine I ca-" he walks away with the box before I even finish what I wanted to say.

I don't get along well with my dad cause he's always at work and we never went out to picnic or a vacation or anything that involved father-daughter time, so it's always a bit awkward for me when he's around. "Y/Nie get in" my dad called out for me to get in the car "huh? y-yeah coming!!" before getting inside the car I go to my room to pick up one last thing, the photo of my mom and I, she's no more and that's the last picture I took with her before she got into the fire accident which took place in her friend's apartment when I was in elementary school.

I was looking at the photo and I heard Jungwon calling me so I quickly placed the photo in my diary and locked the house after getting out. You must be wondering where we're going, well... we're going to a new house far away from here and Jungwon and I are going to go to a new school too. I get inside the car and plug my AirPods in my ears and start playing some songs, my dad is driving the car and Jungwon is on his phone at the back seat.

After a while I felt sleepy so I removed my AirPods and then my dad spoke "I know it's gonna be hard for the two of you to suddenly move out and fit in another place but I want you to know that you can tell me if there's some problem or if there's something want to share, you can tell me, okay??" you want us to share our problems with you?? Appa you're never home for us to talk to you and yo- my thoughts were cut by Jungwon "uh-huh, okay Appa" Jungwon replied to dad "I know it'll be hard but it's kinda exciting too.. to meet new people, new neighborhood new friends, it'll be nice I hope ha..ha.." I laughed awkwardly, my dad looks at me and then towards the road "so you're excited, huh?" he asked "well.... I'm nervous too.. I mean how am I gonna manage last year of high school as a transfer??" I replied "I know right everyone would start talking about you" Jungwon added "I'm pretty sure you'll handle it Y/N, and don't worry about what others say or think about you, I know you're brave"

'I know you're brave' 'I know..' 'brave' 'you're brave' 'you're' 'brave' these were the words told by mom to me, it kept ringing in my mind " we're here!!!" Jungwon exclaimed we got out of the car and started taking the boxes we packed inside our new house, opposite to our house was an old yet grand house and there was a boy with blonde hair standing and looking at me, he looked the same age as me so I smiled at him and he just kept starring at me, well... that was awkward and I got ignored.

people here kept starring at us for no reason and when we greet them they just walk away, there was this one girl in the house opposite to mine who kept starring at me from when we arrived, so I was going to approach and try to talk to her but then "Noona!! come on in it's getting dark"

"huh?" I turn towards the direction of my brother's voice "y-yes I'll be there" I again turn back towards the girl and she's gone? "what...? where'd she go...?" I look around hoping I'd see her but she was no where so I just went inside "Appa had to go to work and told us to order in food" Jungwon said removing the cover of the couch "I'm hungry noona" he whined "what do u wanna eat?" I asked.

after eating the food I ordered we heard that houses here had rooftops so went went to the rooftop to look around "whoa.. it's so dark here" Jungwon said "Noona switch on the torch" he said hoping for me to switch it on "Noona?" he called "NOONA????!!! DON"T DO THIS YOU KNOW I"M SCARED OF DARK NOONA?!!!!!" I chuckled and switch on the torch "I HATE YOU" "Noona!! YOU KNOW THAT I"M SCARED OF DARK!! PPFFTTTT!!!!!!" I tease him

"can u keep it down?" I heard a voice from the house next to ours there were two boys one's hair was black and the other one's was brown, on the rooftop of their house, the guy with the black hair's eyes and my eyes lock for a few seconds and he looks away"there's something about his eyes" I thought and snap out of it"Hi! I'm Yang Y/N and he's my brother Yang Jungwon we moved into this neighborhood recently" Jungwon and I both bowed to them, the guy in brown hair bowed back to us "he's Park Sunghoon" he pointed at the guy in black hair "and I'm his best friend Sim Jake" he bowed and flashed a cute smile to us but the guy in black hair named Park Sunghoon couldn't care less to greet us "You're too noisy keep it down or you might be in trouble" the guy named Park Sunghoon warned us."trouble? what kin-" I cut jungwon off because I knew this neighborhood was strange and I don't want to us to get into any problem.

"S-so.. you guys go to school??" "yeah... we're seniors in high school" Jake replied "Oh! I'm a senior too which school do you go to??" I asked excitedly cause he looks like he could be my friend "XXX high school" "Oemmo I go to the same school too.. well going to go starting tomorrow" I said "Cool! So.. you moved here recently right??" he asked "yeah we just moved in today" Jungwon said "I could say cause you're too friendly" "What is up with being friendly?" I asked casually but it sounded like I was being rude "yo.. I just guessed it no need to be rude" "sorry.. I actually did not mean it that way" I said embarrassed "well there is a lot you need to know about this neighborhood and you might wanna keep away from Jay, he lives right opposite to your house" he referred to the blonde hair guy who was just starring at me when I smiled at him earlier. "yahh let's go in it's getting cold out here" Sunghoon called Jake inside "Okayy, see at school tomorrow, I hope you're in my class" he waved and I waved back at him and then he went inside. I wonder why he said that I should stay away from the guy opposite to our house I mean he is weird... but I think I want to know him. "Okay I'm gonna sleep cause tomorrow is the first day of school!!!! and I don't wanna be late. eeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!!" "Noona!!!" Jungwon screamed from his room "stop thinking about stupid things and go to sleep for god's sake!!!"
