Fated Arrival?

When The Tide Rolls

Treyku and Amaryllis are in her room getting ready for the big raid  

So..., I put on my jacket and wipe my sword off.

"This is the big battle now finally huh?" Amaryllis smiles.

Here, wear this, it'll keep you out of danger if something comes up, he will protect you, I hand her my hoodie.

"But this is yours and you can use your powers far greater than mine." Amaryllis looks at me. 

I have my jacket don't worry, I say holding her hand giving her the hoodie. 

"Well I will use it for this battle if something comes up." Amaryllis slides it on and puts her bow on her back. 

You managed to take one of his bases right? I ask trying my boots. 

"Me, Zengorou, and Dahlia managed to take one." Amaryllis looks down.

Dahlia? I look at her surprised.

"This was before she went missing, she helped keep watch mainly." Amaryllis sighs a bit.

Well there is no use to dwell on this, we have so many people that has been affected by him and friends I can never see again, we can't let their sacrifices be in vain, I hold both of Amaryllis's hands and look down at her. I don't want to lose you or anyone else or any of my friends. Ever again. 

"Treyku..." Amaryllis smiles and holds my hands back. "We will make sure he has what is coming to him." Amaryllis hugs me slightly catching me off a bit. 

You know Amaryllis, ehe, ah never mind, I scratch the back of my head and let go of the hug. 

"Hm?" Amaryllis looks at me.

There is someone I like I think looking back at what you asked me last night.

"Oh?" Amaryllis looks around the room a bit looking away. 

It is you I like, in a love uh kinda way, I look the other way. 

"I see." Amaryllis says as she begins to tear up.

D-did I say something wrong, I walk over to her.

"No, I was thrown off guard to think you were the one who asked me, because I was going to l ask the same thing." Amaryllis looks up at me smiling. "I had liked you a bit after school, but after you were sealed away, I really was aware of how much you met to me." 

I uh, I blush a bit. I am sorry I was gone for a long while. 

"I just am glad you are alive." Amaryllis hugs me. 

We both stare at each other, as Amaryllis smiles just staring at me for what feels like a eternity. I do a fake cough a turn the other way. I think we should go down there and eat, I say scurrying off. 

"Right." Amaryllis chuckles a bit and begins to follow. 

"You best be taking her somewhere after this battle." Zengorou was behind the door in the hallway. 

Did you uh-

"I did, my apologies, I was just about to come get you to come and eat." Zengorou smiles faintly. "I am glad it is you." 

I-I am going to go eat, I pull my hair a bit down trying to hide my face, as I hear the two of them laughing a bit. I never have done something like this on my own that is, I sigh talking to myself to see a giant table filled with food. Woah...

"I had a bit of help with Ester last night, she told me what you liked to eat and didn't so came up with something." Zengorou gives a thumbs up.

I might just stay here all day, I grab a fork and begin eating as fast as I could. Amaryllis sits down beside me and begins eating lightly trying to enjoy the meal. I finish not to long and stand up to stretch a bit. That hit the spot, I rub my stomach.
