Fated Arrival?

The Night Blossoms

Treyku and the Grand Elder are watching over Mint and Pele who both fell asleep as the sky begins to turn into night 

Sorry I couldn't come quicker, I sigh taking a sip of water. 

"It is fine Treyku, you did your best coming here." The Grand Elder pats me on the back. "Let's get them inside my place, then we will go get the village." 

I pick up Pele softly as the Grand Elder picks up Mint as we head to his place and set him on his giant bed. Grand Elder covers the both of them and rubs their head. 

What now Tau? I ask as we walk out. 

"You finally call me by my name, what is the occasion?" The Grand Elder laughs. 

No reason, I forgot what you said to me when I first came into the village. 

"Let's worry about the village now, I will handle Vera. You stay here with us tonight, Pele most definitely does." Tau says leading the way out of the forest. 

I have to go tell my friend I am okay first after I help you out, I had to rush here and some other stuff, I sigh. 

"I know what happened to your sister, my dearest apologies" Tau says a blessing in his language as we exit the forest. 

The village looks at us with read to attack, but stops and lets out a deep sigh. Aja comes up to me with a worried look.

"What happened? Is everyone okay where is Mint?" Aja speaks really frantically.

She is fine, she is sleeping right now needing to rest up, I put a hand on Aja's shoulder and smile softly.

"Thank goodness, I usually would have cam back and helped, but the look in Mint's eyes was so serious" Aja looks down a bit.

Hey you did your part, me and the Grand Elder are more than thankful, you did more than you think. The villagers hold their weapons around in a circle surrounding a fairy as I walk over tot see the commotion.

"Damn traitor you should be disgraced! You are no royalty!" One of the guards say.

The green haired fairy was sobbing loudly on the ground holding her face, as I brush through the crowd. You, I say.  

"EEEK!!" Vera jumps trying to crawl away but is blocked off by the village. 

"Vera." Tau says getting in the circle with a serious look.

"Father....I am. I am so sorry I am such a disgrace just please end me now." Vera begins to sob bowing down to her father's legs. 

"Vera, you tried to not only harm me and the village, but out guests. That is not how things go, you also brought the unknown to our forest putting it in a dire situation. That being said" Tau raises his staff as Vera flinches. "You will clean every inch of the vilage and outter skirts of the village, help the surrounding town and other fairy forests, apologize to our guests, and this" Tau slaps Vera very hard as she falls back. 

"Y-you aren't going to kill me?" Vera says in complete shock not even moving.

"You couldn't have hurt the village anyways, I know all of your tactics, but was fun seeing you actually doing them. I should have raised you better and spent more time with you my dear, I am partly to blame." Tau says in a gentle voice hugging Vera. 

"Wahhhh........" Vera hugs Tau very tightly and sobs uncontrollably as the village sighs awkwardly angered. 

"Everyone head back to the village, I restored the village to how it was and be quiet tonight, guests are sleeping." Tau notions the village to return, as the villagers praise and fly around Aja thanking her.
