I got ready so did Marcus when we got there I saw people all over and loud music blasting.

"I think we're gonna have fun in this school," Marcus said we did our handshake and walked in.

"hey y/n want a drink while I show you the people at our school" Billy said coming up to me

"yes I would like that bye Marcus," I said

"don't leave me and you leaving," Marcus said as I left with Billy he gave me a beer we sat in the kitchen.

"you see over there are the cartel kids and over there are the yakuza on your left is the final world order then there are the kgb officer's children then there's us the rats," billy said I looked at all of them and nodded my head.

"Why are we rats," I asked

"because no one in our families went here before to leave a stable legacy so now were rats we start the legacy," he said as he drank his beer so did I

"damn this place is cruel oh well time to make friends," I said

"what no making friends is a weakness here don't even think about it you have to make a clan," he said grabbing my arm when I jumped down from the counter

"Oh ok then this is gonna be harder than I thought, "I said

"let's walk around," he said as I opened another drink and left the kitchen with him.

"Hey, guys look it's the new kid" A boy yelled pointing at me.

"take a look at this monster"

"she doesn't know how to communicate"

"her mind is in a different place," a girl said pushing me back

"Would everybody please give her a little bit of space," billy said

"Get a load of this train wreck"

"her hair is a mess and doesn't know who she is yet," said a boy coming close to me I looked him straight in the eyes I wasn't scared.

"fight fight fight" everyone started saying circling us

"you think you tough," said the kid I recognized him from the cartel gang

"no, I know I am," I said looking at him

"ok that's enough, "a girl said making me back away from him

"no this piece of shit needs to know his place," I said

"you're trying to get killed," she said pushing me back and taking me out of there to the bathroom.

"I am saying you and your brother sure don't know that this isn't a place to fight someone they can kill you and get away with it you stay in your place you're a rat," she said

"I can end him if you just gave me the chance," I said she scoffed and left I went to find Marcus he was outside waiting for me. I had a feeling someone was watching.

"ready to go," he asked

"Sure why not this place is shitty," I said

"agreed let's go for a walk COPS!" he yelled when we saw them everyone started running away I grabbed Marcus' arm and started running with him.

We went behind a building we were trying to catch our breath.

"Good thing we weren't in that house," Marcus said

"yup let's go back to school," I said

"agreed," I said

When we were walking we didn't talk much mostly just looking around. To find kings dominion we knew where it was just that we forgot what it was next to get there.

"You ever thought about who our parents are, "he asked

"Yeah but who cares they weren't here for us so why should we care," I said

"I don't know maybe to know it we had a family and if they want us back."

"Sure they probably will just leave us at a drug store oh wait they already did," I said

"Whatever," Marcus said looking down.

"Look we have each other and that's all we need because if they were here they would try to find us and was there one missing child report about us," I said

"I suppose not," he said

"See and look there is the school." is said pointing over to the school we both walked inside and went to our dorm.

"I wanted parents but your mind is beyond your years" he stated when we went into the dorm.

"I hope you don't think that shits fair," I said looking at him putting my things down

"Well what if I do think it is," Marcus said

"You really do have a machine heart you know that," I said my eyes started sparkling red, and his sparked green

"you suck anyways" he responded

"It hurts but I won't fight you," I said my eyes went to normal

"you make me wanna die," Marcus said throwing a knife at me I stopped it with my powers

"I am moving out of this dorm tomorrow asshole see you around," I said while packing all my things

"fine then leave!" he yelled

"I will!" I yelled back I got all my things as he sat on his bed staring away

The next day I moved into a dorm where I had all my things in. It was already ready for me when I woke up.

I left without saying a word to Marcus. When I went to my locker I saw lots of people looking at me I rolled my eyes and opened my locker. I saw the textbooks I needed and grabbed them. I saw the girl from earlier come up to me.

"hey I am maria," she said

"Hey," I said

"Since you knew everyone had heard your rep and you need a gang you have a good rep lots of people are gonna want you but we were wondering if you wanted to join us," maria asked

"no sorry I am good," I said when a boy with tattoos came up to us.

"you are one firecracker that's for sure yesterday you tried fighting me and now the same pathetic," he said pushing me back into a locker I put my hand behind my back grabbing the knife in my pocket.

"you're getting on my nerves you asshole," I said looking him straight in the eyes everyone started circling us.

"then fight me so I can hurt you real bad rat," he said as he slapped me I nodded my head and spat the blood out of my mouth. I looked up laughing he looked at me confused

"oh liar," I said while laughing I took the knife and cut his arm as he punched me. I kicked him in the back he knocked me off my feet I got up while kicking his side making him stumble into the locker.

He took a knife out of his jacket and got up. I was ready to fight him when two men in cloaks separated us and pushed me away from him.

"go to class," He said while pushing me back I put my hands up and stepped away from him as he left. So did the other one with chico. He looked at me and I stared at him not breaking contact or showing weakness. He looked away and left I laughed to myself and left for class.
