It's been three days since DO has opened the knowledge eye of Kai by preaching him the unknown secret he should know. Rather than saying brainwashing, it's better to say DO has revealed the truth Kai has refused to believe. But what's spoken can never retrieved back unless we go back in time, expecting fantasies to work out in reality.

From that particular day onwards, Kai tried his best in staying away from Sulli whenever she tried to near him. It was painful for him to avoid her when he's clearly aware of their mutual feelings, but he must let go her if he wanted her to stay happy.

Sulli's mind was restless at the thought of Kai dodging away from her. No proper verdict from his side of him to be behaving like this only made her to assume that it's her fault, remembering the time where she refused to kiss him. If that's the problem then she is ready to solve it in seconds.

Her endless thoughts accompanied by her aimless walk guided her to Kai's ward, already standing in the doorway with a nervous look for no particular reason.

Kai, who was busy street-gazing, felt someone's presence from the corner of his eyes. He turned his head left and locked his eyes with Sulli. But immediately he dropped his gaze, not making it last even for a whole two seconds or he might forget the world to just live with her. He could see longing in her eyes with a single glance of hers.

She slowly walked towards him, "Kai, are you alright?" her voice came in a soft tone.

"Of course I'm," he replied, watching the vehicles on the busy street instead of seeing her. He didn't speak anything more because he doesn't want to prolong their conversation.

"Why are you spacing out, Kai?"

"I'm not," his eyes were reluctant to see hers

"Then look at me. Why do you avoid me? My eyes?" she raised her vocal.

He sighed deeply, digging a better reply before turning to her, "Simply..."
Simply? The best lame answer one could ever give.

"Simply?" she laughed in disbelief. "Don't make your stupidness get the best of you. Be serious"

He himself wanted to face-palm with a brick for the foolish answer of his. How can he be so stupid? He has to answer her with better one. So in the process of fishing a better response, a nurse hurriedly entered his ward. "Dr. Sulli, the patient has arrived. She is in critical condition and you are wanted immediately," with those words, the nurse fled to his opposite room.

The way the nurse said showed how important is that work. "Emergency; you have to go now," Kai said, feeling relieved that he doesn't have to answer her but sad at the same time as she will be leaving him.

"I know," she plainly said with a poker face and turned back to move out. But before that, she quickly pecked his lips and ran outside to check the latest patient.

It happened so sudden that he was left dazed and breathless. Even though it's a simple peck, he hasn't expected from Sulli and moreover, they were arguing just now.

He slowly touched his lips that longed for more intense and smiled thinking of her instance, but those instantly faded when he remembered that he have to forget her. His mind wanted to achieve his impossible mission while his heart wanted to forget everything and stay beside her.

It's been correctly one whole hour since Sulli has left him in his ward with a dreaming mind, but also he didn't miss to notice the sudden change in the hospital. Usually there would be Doctors or nurses or patients or even the patient's families walking past his room but now, he could see no one. It seemed like all the doctors and nurses are kept locked inside the room opposite of his.
