Chapter 23: Meeting.

Third person P.O.V

-After school-

"Yujin, I'm so nervous. Thank you for helping." Somi profusely apologized and thanked the senior. She shivered as they sat in the well lit café.

"Never say thank you for this. We're friends." Yujin shook her head and smiled. "I'm worried about the three idiots though."

"Are they being obvious?" Somi looked around for her friends and spotted the familiar figures disguised in hindsight.

"It's okay. He doesn't know Y/N and Winter, I guess. As long as they don't do something stupid, we'll be alright."

"I hope they don't, but who knows." Yujin laughed lightly and Somi joined shying away a little.

"DID YOU SEE THAT?" Y/N loudly whispered in surprise to the two girls who sat with her on the seat across her on their table.

"Shhh, don't be loud. We'll get caught." Ryujin put her finger on Y/N to shut her up.

"Notice what?" Winter asked curiously looking at the pretending couple sitting on the other table.

"SHE WAS BLUSHING!" Y/N exclaimed softly like a proud mother.

"You sure have hawk eyes. How did you even see that?" Winter asked giggling.

"You tops just don't know how this works. Shush." The girl crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair.

"We've been in love enough to know what blushing is." Ryujin corrected in a low voice but suddenly stopped. "Nevermind, nevermind."

"Did you say something, Ryu?" Winter booped her nose gently to bring the other back to her senses.

"Yeah, she looks happy, that's all." Ryujin smiled and went back to sipping water from the glass which stayed put in front of them.

"Someone's approaching them, be alert." Ryujin whispered and the three went back to their spying.

"He's here." Somi whispered to Yujin who sat beside her as she saw her acquaintance make his way to their table.

"Ah I see." With a quick glance at the approaching figure, Yujin put her elbow on the table and cupped her face while facing Somi.

"You looked pretty today." Yujin smiled and touched her nose.

"Oh you!" The girl played along, but was of course taken back by the sudden advancement which left her speechless for a few second.

She looked at the guy who stood near their table and got up. "Oh, you're here." She said avoiding eye contact with the person she was once with.

"Yeah, It's been a while. Nice to see you." He said and smiled innocently.

"Hey man, I finally meet you. Somsom- I mean Somi told me about you." Yujin extended her hand for a handshake which the guy accepted.

Did she just call me somsom? When did she come up with that?

Somi just stared at Yujin in surprise but her eyes were shining as if she were seeing the sunshine.

"Somi?" The guy spoke up to grab her attention and the three sat down.

"I'm Kim Mingyu. Call me Mingyu, and you are Ahn Yujin, right?" Mingyu started the conversation to avoid the awkwardness.

"Ah yes, I'm her partner." Yujin said and side hugged Somi lightly gaining a blushy yelp out of her.

"I see, how long have you guys been dating?" Mingyu interrogated.

Gosh this feels like a police interrogation. Let's not mess this up, Yujin. Yujin thought to herself and took the lead, for she knew Somi was way too nervous to lie properly.

"It's been three months." Somi answered, to everyone's surprise.

"I see, who confessed?"

"i did." Yujin replied while looking at Somi, she held her sweaty hand under the table and the woman relaxed.

"When did you start liking her"

"I guess it started on her first day here. Oh what a time."

"Did you also like her?"

Somi tensed up at the sudden question.

"I-I didn't at first, but as the time goes by my feelings changed, and i started to like her." She said slowly, her eyes locked with her fake girlfriend.

"I realised it was getting a lot for me to hide, so I took the risk, and now i have this person in my life." Yujin gave her brightest smile and ruffled Somi's hair. All the girl could do was sit there blusing and wait and enjoy her actions.

"Somi..... I'm sorry. But could you consider taking me back? Just one chance?" Mingyu leaned forward plead with his hands on the table.

"Mingyu I-.... I have a girlfriend whom i love very much, please stop."

"I'll do better this time, I'll never say anything bad about you anymore."

"I said stop it already Mingyu, I'm happy and contented with the life i have right now. I love my girlfriend, and that is it." Somi said and left Mingyu.
