Chapter 1: Recruitment list

A/n: In case some people have forgotten: Michiru Namida is Tia Safalin and Emiri Harai is Sue Miley. They will be referred as Miley and Safalin at the beginning of the death game.

I need to make everyone in the game equal. I was presented with information about the candidates and that is all I had to work with, but considering that I had a lot of time It wasn't as challenging as it sounded.

At least I though.

Meister told me to recruit people for this mission. He told me that I can recruit people from ASU-NARO. I already decided I needed to recruit Gashu to help me, as much as I didn't like him I had to say he makes up for that by his usefulness.

Meister also told me that I can find new recruits and make them join ASU-NARO and help me with the death game.

I have searched around and found a man who might be a perfect fit. A little bit crazy and manipulative, okay, maybe a bit more. He also apparently knew how to alter human memory, just what I needed. He was similar to me. The main difference between us  however was the fact that he experimented on humans while I was only experienced with robots and dolls.

I have decided to turn up at his house unannounced. I rang the doorbell. It took him a few minutes to open up. If I didn't keep ringing he probably wouldn't have even opened up.

After he opened up the door I finally got to see him. He had green hair with a rat tail and was wearing a suit and a scarf. A lot cuter than how I imagined him. He's green eyes stared at me for a few seconds while I examined him.

I was well aware that he was a psychopath, so I need to be intimidating to get him to respect me a slightest bit.

"Sou Hiyori, was it?"

Still staring at me he said "Who's asking?"

"A potential ally or an enemy. It depends on you." I answered him.

"Fair enough." He said with a cheeky grin. "I'm the one you're looking for. What does a pretty lady like you have to do with me?"

"I have a business proposal for you. You are a respectable researcher. I would like to have you on one big project my organization is working on." I told him.

"Heh? A researcher? I think you may have the wrong Sou Hiyori. I'm just a job hopper. I have nothing to do with-" He tried to say before I cut him off.

"I know everything." I said. Getting closer to his face, looking his straight in the eyes with a serious expression I whispered "You do not need to lie. I know about your experiments with humans, that is precisely why I'm here."

He was speechless. It's kind of cute. I cannot wait to work with him.

"So, will you let me in to discuss the business proposal or...?" I said in a playful manner. "Oh, and keep in mind that if you try to do anything to me it will not go unpunished. You might even be killed by the day."

I got into his house. That place didn't really look that unusual. I suppose he has people coming often so he needs it to look somewhat normal.

I sat on the couch in his living room as he sat on the other side. Seeing that I moved a bit closer to him.

"So, the business proposal?" He said.

"Yes." I said "The organization I come from, ASU-NARO, is currently working on a very big project. It will require a bit of messing with memory."

"Considering that you need my services, I'm guessing it's not the most legal of things."

"It is not just your services I want. I want to give you a full time job in our organization. You can do much more than mess with memories, is that correct?" I said.
