Chapter 2: Preparations

With the team assembled, I could finally start simulating my idea of a death game. Of course It's going to need some bending, everyone needs to have equal chances after all.

Finding different ways to kill A.I.'s was fun at first. It brought me so much joy. I had the most fun finding ways to kill Shin. He was just so killable.

But, after doing it over and over and over and over and over again, it became boring. Then, after doing it some more, it became a form of torture. So I didn't sit through the entire thing.

I had Emiri and Michiru bring me the results. Both of them were very capable. I like both of them. So much so that they will personally attend the game at some points.

I'm sure they would be delighted. Who wouldn't? It's not every day that a new ruler of the criminal underworld is being chosen.

"How do you get 0.0%? I did my best to make the game possible for everyone. All those simulations and he really didn't win once. Is he really that incompetent?" I said to myself.

"Don't know. He's going to need a lot of support." Hiyori said, I didn't even know that he heard me. "I brought you your tea."

"Why, thank you my dearest assistant." I told him as I started sipping from the cup. "I have came up with a few ideas for making the chances even."

"Oh, please do tell." He said.

"First, I believe Mishima and Kanna should have supports, Kanna can have her sister and Mishima one of his beloved students. Megumi and Keiji will be together for their first trial. That brings up Megumi's and lowers Keiji's chances of survival." I said.

Hiyori listen to me curiously. Seeing as he was very interested, I continued "For Q-taro, Naomichi and Shunsuke all we have to do is make the games a bit less strength based. Just putting Reko and Alice in the same building and forcing them to interact as much as possible should sort itself out."

I thought for a moment and continued "Gin can have an easier first trial, while Anzu and Mai have more difficult ones. Ranmaru just needs more motivation. When it comes to Hinako though... I think that she shouldn't be the one to decide her own fate."

"Those are all very interesting Miss Y/n. But I have noticed you're savings the best for last. I'm most curious about what will you do with Sara Chidouin, the first place, and Shin Tsukimi, the last place." Hiyori told me.

"Sara Chidouin will have an obstacle, maybe even more than one. I'm thinking about putting her friends Joe Tazuna and Ryoko Hirose into the picture. She will be a lot less wild when people she cares about are watching." I said.

"As for Shin Tsukimi..." He was right... I was saving the best for last. "You will act as his support."

He was surprised to hear this. This is the first time I've mentioned something about him possibly being a participant.
