You unlock the door to the house and let Denki inside. There were family photos on the wall but he wouldn't get a chance to see them because you grab his wrist and yank him towards the garage. "We don't use the garage since the driveway is pretty big. So we turned it into a study room." you explain.

He nods and follows along. "Your place is really nice.. Even though I haven't seen much of the inside." he says. You close the door to the garage. "Thanks."

He starts asking questions. "Ooo does your fridge have the two doors?! How big is your room?! Do you have—" You cut him off. "That's not on the agenda." He pouts. "Okay, Okay. But at least tell me what your parents do that your house is so.. fancy and stuff." You roll your eyes. "If I answer will you agree to focus on what you're here for?" He nods, smiling widely and excitedly with anticipation. You huff. "Don't go telling everyone after I tell you. I mean it." He nods again and salutes. "You got it!"

You sit on the desk. "My parents are heros. So you could guess that they make a good chunk of change." He gasps. "Wow! That's so cool! So is that how you're in our class?!" He watches you furrow your eyebrows. "That's exactly why I don't need you telling everyone. Because people like you think that just because my parents are heros, everything is handed to me." You get off the desk and grab a couple of books from the shelf.

Denki felt bad, knowing he probably offended you. "Wait, I'm sorry." You shake your head. "Whatever." He didn't let it go. "No, really. I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I only thought so because I've never seen you training or doing any hero stuff. So I thought maybe you just got a free ride." You sigh and put the books on the table. "Well you're wrong. But I'll forgive you this time. I can see how you'd get it twisted." He smiles and takes a seat in the chair you were pointing at. "Thanks! I'll never assume anything ever again!" You cross your arms. "Unlikely. Let's just get started."

For maybe half an hour, you went into depth with the material from day one. You could tell Denki was a little embarrassed but you weren't sure how to acknowledge it. He started to get distracted with random thoughts that came from his imagination as he was working. The first few times, you let him ramble off about his nonsense. But it started happening more so you decided to take a snack break. You grabbed him something and water for the both of you. After the break, you gave him a worksheet that you printed out.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Do this while I'm gone." You went quickly and came back quietly. So quietly that he hadn't even noticed.

He looked to be a bit stressed and upset as he stared down the worksheet. He was muttering under his breath. You didn't know what he was saying but his pencil wasn't moving.

For a minute, you decided to watch him. He still hadn't done anything. He slams the pencil down and buries his head in his hand. A few seconds later, he took a deep breath and picked up his pencil again. He still seemed to be having a hard time though.

"Kaminari." you finally say. He jumped a little. "How long have you been standing there?" You walk over to him and sit on the table. "Doesn't matter. What are you having trouble with?"

He looked back up at you for a second and slowly turned to his paper. "I- I just can't remember how to do this. A-And I'm second guessing the formula." You nod your head and look down at his work. "You have the formula right. But you have to do this one first." you explain, writing down another formula. You put the pencil down and look back at him.

He stares at what you wrote, biting his bottom lip. You could tell he was a little upset that he had forgotten. But you actually do something when you think you see a tear in his eye. "Hey, are you crying?!" you ask, touching his shoulder. He quickly gets up and wipes his eye. "What? No. Why would I be? Haha."

You didn't look convinced so he switched the focus. "Hey why are you still wearing that stuff? You look like you're looking down on the rest of the world! Haha." You decide to let it go for now since he didn't seem to be comfortable talking about it. "Uh.. I don't know actually. But whatever." He leans on the wall. "You're wearing more too. I mean it's just the mask and that you've worn shades the entire day but it's still more than yesterday."

You check your phone. "Yeah yeah whatever. Anyway, do you need a ride? My parents are on their way and I'm assuming you're done for today anyway." He nods. "Yeah a ride would be nice, thanks." You grab your keys and lead him out the way you'd gotten in. You drop him off in front of his house and drive off once you see his front door open.

The next day, you wake up with a little more energy. You knew that today after tutoring would be the start of the dance. That being said, you ditch the overly concealing clothes and opt for sweats, a crop top, a zip-up hoodie, and your beanie. No shades. No mask. But your eye slip was a daily thing. No buts or ifs about it.

You thought nothing too out of the ordinary would come from the day, but you stood corrected once again. This time, by your Class 1B friends.
