"Those days were quite boring obviously, what with constant politics and always back and forth demands of both Russian and Prussian expansion and conquest that was deeply rooted in both sides." Kurfürst was waving her arms about as she spoke, clearly not enjoying the subject like the others who were listening.
"If they were so boring, why are you telling them to us?" One of the many girls voiced out, Kurfürst decided to leave the identifying and just answer it. "It's important for what's to come. Of course, what is to come is the creation of one of the greatest nations in History, one I am proud to be apart of..."

"This was the beginning of the greatest years of me and Otto's lives. Shortly after where I left off, he was given the position of Prime Minister by Wilhelm the first, the new King of Prussia."
Otto was in his new office, resting with a cup of water firmly in his grasp. His wife and his best friend were also present, both having small talk about many different subjects.
"Ladies, what are your thoughts on all this?"
Johanna was confused on what he meant. "Can you elaborate?"
Otto put his cup down, turning to them. "This new position as Prime Minister, what do you think of it? I personally believe it's a great new step towards what we're hoping for."
"You refer to our dream of uniting the German States?" Mathilde was the one to speak up, earning a grunt of approval from Otto.
Johanna sat in silence as she thought of what he meant. She was a noblewoman, and thus dabbled in politics before, she's actually part of the reason that Otto wishes to unite Prussia and the German states as one of his main supporters. "I believe it truly does merit incredible change. You can achieve much more in this position than previously, now that you rule essentially directly under Wilhelm himself."
"Mmh...what do you think Mathilde?"
...
"I believe that you shouldn't stop here."
"What do you mean by that?"
She cleared her throat, turning to Otto fully. "Uniting Prussia and the scattered states will leave a large pocket of power absent, and because of that, I believe that you should strive to achieve something greater by uniting and sitting yourself with the king as essentially equal footing."
"That's...quite the strange thought." Otto leaned onto his hands, looking over both the paperwork on his desk and thinking over what his sister in all but blood said.
They fell into silence, but that was common when they were on duty. What was uncommon was hearing Otto chuckle, and it wasn't a quiet one either.
"That's a splendid idea! The only problem is the wishes of Wilhelm himself."
"Of course, he was always staunch on Military increases...do you have a plan to get past that side of him?"
"That I do. I did my own searching, and I found a gap in the Constitution that fits just perfect for our purposes. Despite the decline of the Military increase bill, I have this loophole to do it anyways without suffering burdens from the Parliament." He smiled, proud
"You...really have thought this through haven't you?" Johanna was the one to voice this, Mathilde thinking it over while she spoke.
"He does that, but I'm more worried for the reaction of the Parliament because of this."
"That is something I'm worried about." Otto say back again, taking a sip of water. "This will obviously not gain me favor, but we must take these steps to ensure that we are United once more."
