"So that's how you became the first ever shipgirl?"

"It was, but that was only the start of my problems. As you all know, Shipgirls are stronger and more resilient than Humans are, but you were all born that way and thus fully understood that...what happens when a human becomes one after being human for nearly fifty years?"

"Complete disassociation with your new body and it's power!" A hand shot up as they shouted that, belonging to Shangri-La.

"That's correct. I had to almost completely change my way of life thanks to becoming a shipgirl, and the even worse problems only came once I realized just what happened to me, in full..."

"Back then, I had only just acquired my new body and new existence. Then, I only knew what I had on me, and a few other things as well."

Otto embraced the crying figure of Mathilde, who had completely broken down from the sudden differences in herself. It was obviously too much for one person to comprehend so quickly, so all they can do is simply wait it out until she calms.

It took some time, but her sobs broke away, now she was just breathing heavily as Otto held her shoulder guards close. "Otto...what happened?"

"I do not know...I wish I did."

Mathilde took more deep breaths, before gently pushing herself away from Otto. Her feet were unsteady, but her hand seemed to be, without her knowledge, trying to reach out to the halberd stuck in the ground.

The halberd was the next object to consider, as a soldier had attempted to lift it, finding it not to budge in the slightest. A few of the men gathered around it and tried to pick it up, but found no success.

"Mathilde, did you feel anything strange during that bright flash?"

"No...I felt nothing other than my old pains go away." She wiped her eyes, looking down at the gauntlets covering her hands.

She fiddled around with them, eventually seeing that there were clasps keeping the armor all rooted in her hand, preventing the gauntlets from falling off. She undid the clamps, and took the gauntlet off, exposing her right hand.

There were no wrinkles on it, and it looked smooth as a baby's own. She saw in the remnants of the mirror that her face looked the same as it did back when she was 19, back when she was at her prettiest and even then some.

'Whatever that cube did to me...it made me from beautiful to a downright Angel.'

Her eyes drifted to the rest of her body, seeing how she truly was covered head to toe in steel plates. The part that seemed strange to her though was how it seemed fitted to her figure, which isn't how armors are meant to be made. Even for females, an armor piece, especially the chest, is still the same make as the ones for men, for they are made that way for protection.

"Otto, I believe I should take this armor off, to make sure there aren't any issues with my body underneath this."

"That is a valid reason too do so...are there any rooms available?"

A physician stepped forward. "We have the toilets, those have natural lighting and a mirror for her to see for any wounds or possible abscesses."

He waved for them to follow, so Kurfürst and Otto went with him through the hallways. During the whole walk, the constant clunking of her armor only constantly reminded her that something was wrong with her now, and she was no longer normal in some way. A person doesn't just grow younger instantly, nor grow much taller instantly.

Once at the toilet, they gave her privacy as she stepped inside, and quickly started to undo her armor. It took quite a while, trying to figure out how to unstrap any of the pieces and try to figure out how to put them back together, but it was ultimately important as she knew she would probably need to put it back on again.
