—————She silently put the roll of film into the projector, starting up the film before sitting down again. With a gesture, she got someone to turn the lights off in the room, making sure no one was going to be unable to see it due to the brightness.
"Please hold your voices...this won't be pretty for any of us."
The film slowly began to play, and soon, they would be subject to the terror that happened on that day...the day Kurfürst fell.
———————————————————————"Okay...got the camera going!"
"Good, we can at least get this down for the books. Christ...it's been 27 hours and she's still going..."
The man behind the camera looked to his friend, a grim look on his face. "What did you expect? She's practically a God amongst men, so it's not easy."
Another explosion rang out, and they turned the camera on to record everything happening. The smoke from the explosion cleared away, and history itself was allowed to view the terrors of this day...
—————Coming from the smoke, Kurfürst was breathing somewhat roughly, exhaustion already set in from the endless attrition the AEF had put her in. She swiped away the dust in her face, facing the fire once again as her eyes grew use to the sight ahead of her.
American troops, tens of thousands of them, all lined up with shotguns, grenades, shovels, axes...anything they could use, they had. It was a battle she was tricked into, and now, she knew how this would end.
But she wouldn't go down without a fight, she'll drag as many of them to hell with her as she could.
With a yell, Kurfürst took the first step into the next fight, her yell getting a response from the men as they also charged towards her, bravery and courage painting their faces as they faced certain death. The lands were charred from the sheer amount of artillery they brought to the battle, but there was hardly a scratch on Kurfürst, save for a few light marks from the shells hitting her directly.
The wave had crashed onto her, and already, several Americans were tossed aside with deadly force, her Halberd cutting through even more as blood sprayed all around her. A shovel smacked her in the back, doing nothing before she turned to bisect that man as well.
Yet, no matter how many men fell to her weapon, fell to her force, were crushed by her strength...two more would take his place, an endless flood that was ready to die to bring down the devil who walked the Earth. This entire battle was designed with the sole purpose of taking her down the only way they thought they could.
A Human can't win a fight against a Bear alone, but he can outlast it until it falls dead from exhaustion.
Someone jumped onto her back, so she grabbed his arm and crushed it, hearing him scream before she tossed him off and into another group, sending dozens tumbling from the sheer force of the throw, killing several of them at the same time. Yet, two more jumped on her, one again on her back, and another holding her main hand.
She thrashed to remove them, but even more jumped on her, trying to dog pile her and force her down, obviously to little avail. Before she could do much else, she felt something cold press up against her, so her eyes focused before shrinking at the sight.
There was a Shotgun directly in her face.
The weapon fired, clouding her face with buckshot and temporarily blinding her from the hail of projectiles. Then, she felt it get even worse as the man took the opportunity to shove his gun in her mouth, firing again.
