Danielle woke up knowing she had to be at work in less than an hour. She was usually not the one to sleep in, but given the recent circumstances, a certain brunette that had kept her up all night, she was exhausted.

She got out of bed, resembling the personality of a zombie. She walked around her bedroom, looked out for her clothes. Went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She got out, still looking somehwhat dead.

"Why don't you skip work today baby? It's not like Carlos and Jaina will fire their business partner?" Stefania said giggling.

"I know but I need to be there. We have the launch for the new location today and If I don't go, I'd feel like a mum who missed their child's track race or something you know. I need to be there."

Stefania just smiled at Danielle, she always knew that Danielle was passionate about what she does, but now because of how their dynamics had changed, she felt prouder. As she watched Danielle move around the house, getting ready, she couldn't help but think that they had not defined their relationship yet. She wanted to ask her to be her girlfriend, but part of her also didn't want to scare her off.

"What time do you have to be at work?" Danielle asked while putting her make up on

"Ah, not until this afternoon. I just have this small meeting regarding next week's shoot. So I'll probably be gone for like an hour max."

Danielle got up as she finished putting her make up on, she grabbed all that she needed. As she was preparing to leave, her eyes went to the gorgeous brunette, still laying in bed, looking as gorgeous as ever. Danielle went to her and kissed her forhead. "See you, Stef." She said in the most tender way possible. Stefania just smiled at the contact. She couldn't wait to call Danielle her girlfriend.

"Seriously Danielle? Dad jokes?"

"Stefania, come on. They're so funny."

Stefania just laughed at how much Danielle loved Dad jokes.

"Okay I have another one. Would you rather fall in love at first sight or with your childhood best friend." Danielle asked

Stefania stared at Danielle, she looked into those blue eyes that she had seen a year ago and instantly felt giddy. "First sight." She said with confidence booming on her face and in her answer. "What about you?" She asked with a slight smile. "Yeah. Yeah, first sight." Danielle replied.

Present day

Danielle was having a busy day at work. She had a bunch of customers come in. Around 3 pm in the afternoon when they finally had a moment of peace, The three owners decided to take a break and sit down for a cup of coffee in the back office.

"Soooo- how are things with Miss Spampinato?" Carlos asked as he stirred his coffee.

Danielle instantly blushed. "Ugh man, you're so obvious. Just spit it out already." Jaina said as she sat with her cup of coffee as well.

"Ugh guys, I don't want to jinx it or anything but, oh man, it's solid. It feels good. We're in a good place i'd like to believe." Danielle said as her blush only grew with every word she spoke.

Carlos and Jaina looked at each other and smiled. "Okay but D, imma say this brutha, if she hurts ya again, imma go after her." Carlos said. "No you won't. Shut the fuck up and drink your coffee" Jaina told him as Danielle just laughed.

Meanwhile Stefania had just finished her meeting regarding the shoot. She decided on texting Danielle as she left for home.

Stef: Going to my place to grab some clothes and take a shower. See you at yours in the evening, bambina. Xx
