This is the sequel to a book I wrote called Apparently I Have Dissociative Identity Disorder so if you haven't already read that then I highly recommend you do before reading this.
So in a few chapters through it there are some inappropriate interac...
~~Void~~ My eyes flutter open and I see I'm in a room. I look around seeing a strange woman and I get worried. I scream at them "WHO ARE YOU!!?!! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!!!"
They look at me and say in a soft voice "My name is Melissa, and you were in a car accident, so you were brought here to the hospital."
Hospital, car accident, no wouldn't I remember that. She's looking at me and asks me "Do you remember your name?"
I . . . I don't know. I get worried so I scream out "LEAVE ME ALONE!! GO AWAY!!"
She leaves but comes back with a guy in a uniform and they come close to me, so I warn them "Stay away or I'll hurt you!"
They don't listen and I lunge at them punching at them, but the guy is too strong. He locks my arms in cuffs and leaves after that leaving me with the one called Melissa.
I scream again "LEAVE ME ALONE!!" She leaves but not for long but this time comes back with another uniform guy, but this uniform is different and again I scream "WHAT DO WANT!!!WHY AM I HERE!! WHERE AM I!!"
They leave again and I getting out of the cuff. I struggle against the restraints to the extent of rubbing my wrist raw as the door opens once again with the woman known as Melissa and she asks, "Do you know your name?"
I look down thinking as I close my eyes the name comes to me, so I say, "It's Void, I don't know anything else." She smiles a small smile and says "That's okay it'll come back slowly but it will. You will remember in time."
She turns to leave and turns back just short of the door saying, "Oh and if you want those off all you have to do is show your not going to be a danger to yourself or others."
She leaves through the door, and I feel tired. My eyes are heavy, so I lay down closing my eyes as I feel lightheaded and the darkness take over, but it feels like home.
~~Stiles~~
I snap open my eyes as I sit up abruptly looking around as I see my arms are lock up and the door opens to reveal Melissa, so I ask as she shuts the door behind her "Melissa what's going on, where am I"
She looks at me walking up asking "Stiles? That you?" I give a weird look and say "Uh yeah, last I checked."
She breathes out and says "Good, now let's get those off." She walks closer and starts to release my arms from the restraints. After she finishes that I ask her "Well I can see I'm in the hospital but I'm wondering why?"
She explains why and then explains to something I didn't expect "I believe you're alters have been affected by the crash, Void was out before and that's why you had to be restrained.
He as far as I could tell is suffering from short-term memory loss and who knows what kind of effects it's having on Stuart." I look at her asking "How did you know about Stuart?"
She says simply "Your dad." I nod as I speak in my head "Stuart, is Void okay and how do you feel?" I get no response and I immediately feel unsettled and nervous as I stand up to pace around.
I run my fingers through my hair and say out loud to Melissa "Melissa I'm scared I. . . I can't hear them. Their quiet, their never quiet."
She comes up to me preventing me from pacing as she says, "It's going to be okay Stiles how about I call your father and you two can talk."
I nod running my fingers through my hair again as my nerves are through the roof and after she left, I start talking out loud not caring if someone walks in on me
"Void, Stuart talk to me. Is something wrong?" I wait but no answer, so I talk again "Void you promised you'd always be there when no one else is and right now no one is here. . . And neither are you."
I start to cry out of my feelings if being scared, nervous, and over all horrified about what could be happening.

I just then hear the door open to my dad and he cones up hugging me. After we part from the hug he asks, "Stiles are you okay?"
I start to tear up again and I sit down on the chair beside the gurney. I cover my face with my hands crying and feel arms wrap around me as I cry.
The tears soon let up and I say "I'm scared I don't hear them, and they won't talk to me, they wouldn't do that, they wouldn't ignore me not if I asked them something. Not unless something is wrong." He smiles at me saying "We'll figure it out Stiles. I promise."

We hug again and I start crying again this time I just let it out.

~~Stiles~~
I got discharged from the hospital, and we just got home. I make my way upstairs as I flop down onto my bed, I suddenly feel heavy in my eyes and body.
I can't force them to stay open as my dad comes in, but I can't hear him very well and I try to warn him "I'm switching." Just then my vision starts to go black, and I don't fight it because I can't.
~~Void~~
I open my eyes feeling I'm on a bed as I look around seeing I'm in . . . A bedroom that looks familiar to me, but I can't place it and I see the guy I saw at the hospital. I get up backing up to the wall and ask, "What do you want from me?"
I smiles a small smile as he answers "I don't want anything but for you to relax and know that I'm not going to hurt you or anything. I just want to make sure you're okay and safe. It's actually my job being the Sheriff and all."
I look to see an open window debating on whether to jump out or not but then I realize we're on the 2nd floor and I sit down asking "Who are you, Sheriff?"
He looks at me and asks me "How about you lay down and I'll leave you alone." I think about it and say as I go to lay down "Close the door on your way out."
He does and I close my eyes feeling that lightheaded feeling as I accept the safe place of the darkness surrounding me.
