3) Truth Revealed

"Wanderer?" Kaoru asked hearing the door opened "oh, it's just you" she said when she saw the little boy.

"You're not happy to see Squire Yahiko Myojin?" The boy asked 

"Oh, be quiet" Kaoru said 

"Give me breakfast" Yahiko demanded, Kaoru ignored him and continue to clean the floor.

"This hungry orphan needs a hot meal!" He crawled over to her and whine, he pause when he saw the famous Unknown Samurai that seem to be sleeping while sitting in the corner "That's-"

"Quiet, don't disturb her" Kaoru warned, she stands up and walk over to him patting him and gesture him to stand up "First, we train. Get cleaning"

"All right" Yahiko huffed

Kaoru picks up a wooden sword, bowing slightly and gets into stance but was suddenly interrupted by a loud noise. 

"Who are you?" She asked, exiting the dojo to see who caused the commotion. 

"We want this dojo" the man smirked

"What?" Kaoru asked dumbfounded 

"You'll get a good price" the man approached her "A certain gentleman will pay well. It won't be a bad deal for you"

"What? I'm not selling my father's dojo!" Kaoru firmly said

"For just an Assistant Instructor... you got a lot of nerve, honey" the man friend said "Especially when your Battousai is a murderer"

"He's not one of us!" Kaoru said

"Just let it go. Nobody comes to this dojo now, anyway" one of the man said to her before shouting a command "Get busy!"

They started to wreck everything and Kaoru tried to stop them. They went inside the dojo to see the unknown Samurai. 

"You're causing a commotion. Please leave" 

"Hah! So you're the famous unknown Samurai?" The man scoffed, ignoring her, they began to take everything. 

Unknowing her anger for ruining her peace time.

"Wanderer" Kaoru mumbled seeing the man who saved her. Everyone walk outside "Who are you?" The thug asked him.

"I agree. Her words are those one whose hands are still clean" He said approaching them "She is dreaming" He was not talking to them but rather talking to the unknown Samurai. He was replying her words from earlier. 

"The sword is a weapon meant for killing. No fine words will change the truth of that" He stared at the ground before moving his gaze towards the thugs. 

"But I vastly prefer... Miss Kaoru's fond dreams to that truth" He smiled, the unknown Samurai stared at him before picking up a wooden sword.

They began to attack him but he counter it with only his hands. The unknown Samurai, swing her sword and knock 3 of the men in behind.

The man Kaoru called Wanderer, paused and stared at her. The unknown Samurai sighed and cracked her neck. One of the man attack her too but in a split second was knocked out by her wooden sword. Both the Wanderer and unknown Samurai counter their attack and effectively knocking them out. 

"Figth them!" 

The wanderer and unknown Samurai dodge numerous sword thrust at them. They both used the wooden sword to defeat every single men. Not a single scratch landed on them. 

When they both finish, they stand in the middle of the fallen beaten men who were staring at them in fear. 

"You are a Samurai too?" The unknown Samurai asked

The man knew he could no longer hide it "that, I am" he mumbled, the answer could only be heard by her. 

"Battousai fought in the Hiten Misturugi-ryū style. It is an old style, suited to one against many" he said and stared at his abnormal sword

"I wear this sword... so that I do not kill" he exposed himself and confirmed the unknown Samurai suspicion 

"It's you!" One of the thug shouted in fear

The last 2 tried to attack him but failed in a humiliated way. The unknown Samurai said nothing but walked away, slightly glancing at the scared Kaoru.

"You?" Kaoru asked 

The supposedly real Battousai said nothing "Kaoru!" The villager voice shouted in worry. 

The unknown Samurai hummed, not knowing what to feel fo the sudden change of atmosphere. Today was something different, she knew the Wanderer and had met him before. But will not approach unless he approach her. A sudden feeling arouse within her, a feeling she had forgotten long ago.
