Daniel looked out the bus window, Eliana sleeping peacefully on his shoulder much like alpine slept on his lap as the scene changed from mountains and forests to suburban houses and buildings.
Daniel woke them all up and the three made their way back to his house which Wasnt far as it took merely an hour at most and soon found himself standing at the porch of his house as time seemed to blur past him.
Daniel knocked on the door three times before seeing the door open to find his dad, his face full of worry "hey dad, I'm ho-" Daniel didn't have much time to react before his father hugged him "thank goodness you're safe, I was so worried" he said as he continued to embrace his adopted child before noticing Eliana and looked at Daniel and noticed the ends of his hair were a crimson red "I have a lot to explain" he said as he let out a small chuckle as they all went inside.

After a long explanation over dinner and with Eliana now sleeping in one of the guestrooms, Daniel sat on his bed, alpine on his lap and clothes changed to pajamas as he looked through everything he wrote and drew on his journal, from maps and noted to drawings of beasts and messages ending with a drawing of him and his friends before closing it and placing it on his bedside.
"Well that was...the weirdest summer camp ever, but I guess that's just how the adventure goes," he told himself as Alpine shifted in his sleep, causing him to laugh as he patted his side "good night boy," he said before going to sleep, excited about what adventures tomorrow brings.
