I rolled to my side, reaching for my pillow when I touched something hard. I immediately opened my eyes to see Calum beside me sleeping. My hand was on top of his chest. My laptop is still playing a movie; we must have fallen asleep.

I just looked at him quietly, like I was memorizing how he looks.

I smiled. I could look at him forever and never get tired, I thought.

Wait.

This is wrong.

We're just two people who happen to be schoolmates and neighbours, and I think we're friends now as well. We're just hanging out. I mean, okay, I like when he calls me babe and princess. But I'm sure it meant nothing.

He's just like this outside school...

Something that I want to be greedy about him...

"Oh, hey, princess," he slowly opened his eyes, looking at me. "Are you, uh, are you watching me sleep?"

"Me?" I asked, confused.

"No, me, weirdo," he chuckled lightly. "Yes, you. Were you watching me sleep?"

"Oh," I giggled. "I was just looking at you."

He rolled to his side, facing me and looking me in the eyes. Our faces were just inches apart.

He smirked, "it's the same, babe."

"I," I started, but stopped, unable to form the words as he inched closer to me.

Wide awake, my mistake
So predictable
You were fake, I was great
Nothing personal

He laughed. "Ah! Break your little heart. You're the biggest hustler I know!"

"You have no idea," I laughed along, reaching for my phone to turn off the alarm.

"What's that for? Someone calling?" He asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Nope, it's an alarm," I shrugged. "Have to go home by 10:30 tonight so I set an alarm at 10. Forgot to turn it off. Speaking of which, uh, it's already 10. What time did we fell asleep?"

"You fell asleep 30 minutes after we started Monster Inc. 2, I think," he said, trying to remember. "Then I just kind of fell asleep, too."

"We'll have to rewatch it again next time then," I giggled, taking his hand which he held out for me to help me get up. "I have to check on Harry."

"Let's go," he said, leading the way and opening the door. "I think he's on his room already. I don't hear anyone downstairs."

"Right," I said, pulling him to the right where Harry's room is, which is next to mine. I quietly opened the door and peeked my head to see him already fast asleep. I closed the door and turned around only to be face to face with Calum. And once again our faces were just inches apart.

He looked at me deep in the eyes before looking down to my lips then back to my eyes again.

"Uh, Ash," I break our eye contact, sliding passed him. Before leaving him behind to follow me, I saw him smirked. "Ash might be on his way home now."

"Yeah, I have to go home now," he said.

We went downstairs in silence. No one spoke a word until we got to the front door.

"I'll see you on Monday," he said, stepping out of the house and looking at me. "Or on your window, which ever comes first."

"Probably the window," I laughed. "Goodnight, Calum."

"Goodnight, Mikee," he smiled.
