Yuno

"Doctor, is there any way for my sister to be able to recover at home instead? All of this but at our house." He gestures to the machines.

"Yes but her condition isn't good enough for her to travel in."

"Then make it possible Doc, my sister needs to be out of the hospital before the rest of the city wakes up. I don't want anyone seeing my sister leave the hospital." The doctor had never seen Yuno act or talk this way before, but he understood the case.

"And on top of that my decision, as well as under HIPAA, make those who are here aware, that if anyone asks for my sister to say that she died early in the morning. And if anyone says something about this, I will know." He says looking at his sister. The doctor was not able to say anything else and did as he was told. The machines were sent out first to the house to be set up before she arrived. They transferred Ray through the back entrance into an ambulance that was waiting for her while Yuno exited through the front entrance.

It's been 6 months since that happened, as well as since the funeral. Yuno has also asked Lang for his help to cover any holes in their tracks for this. Besides Radiant, only Lang knows from the boys. From making sure the hospital says nothing about the transfer to making a whole new identity for Ray. The process of paper works obviously took a long time but there's really no hurry. Yuno was now sitting in speech therapy with his sister. Miraculously she woke up 3 months ago, and ever since then they've had different specialists come in aiding her recovery. They've come from the city right over, our own doctors have done enough. She has been doing well in physical therapy, she's able to move around by herself, the progression of that has been looking up. She hasn't left the house for awhile, Yuno doesn't want to risk anything else happening.

"Okay Araminta we can start with your basic information, do you think we can try to do that again?" asks the speech therapist and Ray nods. "Okay repeat after me."

"My name is"

"My...name...is..." she says slowly.

"Araminta Sykk"

"A...ra...min...ta...ssss...ykk..." she winced in pain, holding her head. Yuno steps in.

"I think that's enough for now." The therapist nods.

"She's doing great progress, slow but steady, and she's also pushing herself to last longer than an hour." She fixes her belongings and says her goodbyes, he walks her out and comes back to a crying Ray.

"Araminta it's okay, it's fine taking it slowly. We don't have to rush it, just give yourself the time it takes." Yuno brings her into his arms. "No one is rushing you but yourself. Be kinder to yourself." She breaks off and nods.

"Not Ray?" She said as she wiped her tears.

"You have to get used to the new name so it's not obvious we changed it." Yuno says, trying to have her understand the situation.

"Do you want me to take you to your room?" She shakes her head no.

"I'll have Max get us some food and I'll let you know when it's here."

Max

Max receives Yuno's text message and grabs some food at Uwu for four people. Eric was waiting for him outside so they could go to the twins' house for the Radiant meeting. He hasn't been getting enough sleep since the incident and he blames himself for everything that's been happening. Max gets into the car still not feeling good that he has to hide what happened so he confides to Eric as they make their way.

"Eric what if I just t-"

"No Max. I know what you're going to say and the answer is no. We promised her that whatever happens that night that we're taking it to the grave, so we're taking it to the grave Max." Eric said straightforwardly, he likes this about Eric but sometimes it makes him look like he's heartless.
