Gone gone gone part 1

Summary: you and Peter grew up close but a certain tragedy brings you apart.

You and Peter were always the best of friends. You always talked. You didn't always share everything, but you did care for each other deeply. You'd even been close since the day you were born.

I guess being siblings helped with that.

Peter was two years older but you couldn't have been closer. Even if you were twins.

You had movie nights, raided the fridge together at midnight every midnight, and told each other everything.

Even your parents death couldn't change that. Sure, it was hard. Very hard.

But you were together.

And you both had May and Ben.

Eventually the pain of your parents death faded. After all, your brother was always there.

Your dad may not have been there to yell at you about your math worksheet in the kitchen, but Peter always tutored you in his free time.

Your mom wasn't able to cook you dinner, but Peter was there to make the craziest sandwich combinations with you. Without him you never would have tried Salami and Jelly with mustard. It had been the grossest thing you ever had eaten, but it was an experience you didn't want to forget. Well you couldn't forget it if you tried.

Peter would remind you about your laundry. He'd offer to dry the dishes if he saw you washing. And the moment he got his license he was there to pick you up every day after school.

And now, you had May and Ben. Now you had family movie nights, game nights, and everything else a parent could give you.

So yes, it hurt, but you had your family.

No secrets.

Well, almost.

"Dude I don't understand how you can get all scratched up." You rolled your eyes. "You seriously expect me to believe that THIS was from your skateboard?" You gestured to the bruise on his arm with eyebrows raised. "Did you get in a fight? Is that what this is? Cause I can go get them for you. Just say the word."

He scoffed. "You would take on a high schooler for me?"

"Absolutely."

"Well with that in mind, can I borrow your charger?"

"Hell no." You scoffed back at him, applying the newly bought foundation over his bruise. If Ben found out he'd have an aneurism. "But seriously what happened."

"Don't worry about it kid." He shoved your shoulder with his, making you shriek when the makeup rubbed off on her shirt.

"I WAS ALMOST DONE!"

"It's not a big deal. It's just one person." He waved you off. "Anyway, what do you want to watch tonight?"

"Don't you brush me off." You glowered at him. "You're lucky I didn't snitch to Ben. I think I at least deserve to know what happened."

"Hey, don't forget the code you ding bat." He warned.

"Which one." You raised an eyebrow. "The no eating each other's leftovers code? Or the no going into each others rooms code."

"The no snitching code." He flicked you. "I think this situation applies."

She stood up quickly, flicking him back. "No no no, we made that code if the IMPOSSIBLE case of you getting a girlfriend ever came true. That does not apply."
