So  began your double life.

You didn't become a super hero like Peter or your father, but suddenly you had more secrets than your dad could possibly know.

For one, you knew who Spider man was. He gave you his number and name, telling you that you should meet up later and he would show you his face. He also told you he would show you the city since you told him that you were relatively new to New York.

Yeah, you didn't tell him that your father was Tony Stark. You couldn't. You weren't allowed to.

And you didn't tell your father about who you had met when you were outside the tower.

All you said was you went for a walk and no one saw you. He had flipped out when you returned, but you calmed him quickly. You told him you needed a break from being stuck in the tower and needed to think about something other than your soulmate.

Tony was proud that you recognized you need space, but he also wanted to wring your neck for making him worry. Sometimes you were just too much like him. He made you promise to never do that again. He couldn't say you were grounded, because you already were, but he needed to know you wouldn't do that to him again.

And, of course, you agreed.

You wouldn't run away again... because you were upset.

And you definitely wouldn't get caught either.

You texted the number that Spiderman (Peter Parker) gave you, asking if he could meet you next week.

He responded quickly with a yes, offering to meet you at Delmar's sandwich shop.

You knew where that was since it was right outside your window. You agreed.

The moment you snuck out, Pepper noticed.

But she said nothing.

-----

"I could have sworn Delmar's was right..." You wandered down the street with your hood up, "...Here!" You stopped in front of the shop, breathing in deeply. "Okay. You got this. You got off to a rough start, but you're going to see your soulmate face to face." With that you entered.

The bell rang when you opened the door, making you jump. Did all doors do that? Was this normal? Or was this some sort of security measure?

"Hello!" Mr.Delmar greeted from behind the counter. "Can I get you anything today?" He gave you a large smile. "Best sandwich shop in New York!"

You couldn't help but smile back at him. "Yes, but is it okay if I just browse? I'm new to New York."

"New to New York, huh?" The man leaned on the counter. "Visiting family?"

"Oh no, I'm meeting my soulmate!" You couldn't help but tell him while looking at all the items he had in his shop, eyes lingering on a bag of gummy worms.

"Soulmate! That's amazing!" Mr. Delmar nodded. "How'd you two meet?"

You grabbed the gummy worms and set them on his counter. "We ran into each other on the street while he was listening to music. Last night, actually." You flinched as a large orange cat jumped on the counter with a meow.

Did all New York sandwich shops have cats in them? Did It bring good luck or something?

"Very exciting!" The Italian man agreed with you. "Can I get you anything else? Anything that can make your time in New York special?"
