This year will be different

Ameila returned to her dorm during the movie to leave Josie and Landon alone. When she got into her room she was staring off at the other side of the room noticing how empty it looked when her head started to hurt.

Ameila- oh no not again

Ameila got flashes of her and Hope moving in their late cuddles when someone was upset. Them painting together. When the flashes ended she had tears in her eyes.

Ameila- why can't I remember you!

She then laid down and fell asleep the next morning she had walked over to the twins room. Lizzie was doing yoga while Josie was getting ready for the day.

Josie-What are you doing?
Lizzie- Warrior two.
Josie- I thought you said yoga was karate for lazy people.
Lizzie- I did, but spending the summer with Mom opened my eyes to all kinds of new experiences. New year, new me. Semester of yes.

Ameila then walks in

Ameila- didn't you already try that with the bracelet?
Lizzie- I'm gonna let that comment slide because it's snarky and I missed you.

Josie smiled at the fact Ameila had left her room. Lizzie got up and hugged the girl.

Ameila- I missed you too Liz
Lizzie- so you were here most of the summer any hot tea on the hobbit and my dear sister.

Josie shot Lizzie a shut up look while Ameila took a deep breath and plastered on a fake smile.

Ameila- nope just that they're really cute!
Lizzie- ugh boring.
Josie- anyway I'll see you in class late right Mels?
Ameila- yeah

Ameila then walked out of the room. Knowing she wasn't going to class but to Mystic falls high to see Ric. Which is where Hope seemed to find herself.

Ric-You are a blank slate, Miss Hope Andrea. Parents Tom and Kathleen. No transcripts from your last school.
Hope-I think they must've just gotten packed away or something. Like I said, we move around a lot.
Ric-Mm-hmm. Well, if you are gonna be here in Mystic Falls, you have to go to school.
Hope-Well, then I guess it's a good thing I'm here, right?

The school bell rings and Ameila Mikaelson walks in. Hope turns to face her sister who looks at her with no emotion. Little did she know the second Ameila faced her, her heart arched like she missed someone though she didn't understand.

Hope - Can I go now?
Ric-You know, I, uh I've got two daughters, and I know when they're not telling me something. So, you know, if there's, uh, anything going wrong at home, you know, if you're in any trouble and you need to talk, just know I'm here to help, okay?
Hope- I'm fine.

Hope get's up and walks out of the room with tears in her eyes. Amelia contemplates walking out after her but Ric pulls her out of her thoughts.

Ric- this doesn't look like your morning assembly.
Ameila- yeah well I wasn't feeling it. Anyway who was that?
Ric- uh new student. Why do you know her?
Ameila- no I don't think so. Anyway, how are you?

Ameila sits in the seat across from Ric and puts her feet on the desk which Ric pushes off.

Ric- Adjusting. What about you? Josie was worried about you then she said you went home.
Ameila- I did. I went to look for answers.
Ric- did you find them?
Ameila- I'm not sure yet. You shouldn't be here you belong at school.
Ric- the counsel voted me out.
Ameila- which is stupid because I was unconscious when they voted plus you made a mistake you had good intentions at heart.
Ric- yeah well you're the only one that sees it that way.

Back with Landon and Josie it was passing between classes.

Josie- hey
Landon- hey
Josie- have you seen Ameila?
Landon- No I was gonna ask you, she's not in her room.
Josie- I saw her this morning and she said she was going to class but she wasn't there.
Landon- Least she left her room so baby steps right. So anyway, still on for dinner tonight?
Josie- Yeah sure
Landon- great yeah so uh Sushi?
Josie- Sushi is great. I love sushi.
Landon- cool cool.
