After Ric had realized what he had done he and Dorian went diving for it but with no luck the road trip was on. Dorian and Emma sat in the back While Josie Ameila Hope and Lizzie sat in
the middle with Kaleb and Ric up front. It was gonna be a long spring break.
Kaleb-Dr. Saltzman, this van is very... white of you.
Ric- It's retro.
Lizzie-It's a gas-guzzling atrocity on wheels.
Hope-I brought snacks
Lizzie-Oh, sweet. Did you pack them before or after you and your sister decided to FOMO your way onto our trip?
Hope- Like I'm gonna let you guys chase monsters without us?
Lizzie- I would've thought you wanted to spend the break canoodling with your hipster boyfriend. And Ameila I don't know what you would be doing to go home or something.
Ameila shrugged her shoulders and continued to look for her headphones. She truly didn't know why Hope dragged her along she could handle this without her. Little did Ameila know it was her plan so her and Josie would spend more time together which she wished Lizzie picked up on.
Hope-Sorry for wanting to protect the outside world from my mistakes. You know, there's currently an urn on a river cruise spreading plagues across America because I thought a unicorn was cute.
Ameila was sick of the fighting and upset she didn't have her headphones.
Ameila-It's called accountability or your sister guilt tripping you. Maybe there's a bracelet for it Lizzie.
Lizzie-Or maybe you guys just wanted to ruin yet another Saltzman spring break.
Hope-When have we ever ruined a spring break?
Ric-Girls? We're gonna be in this classic automobile for six hours, all right? So, no bickering.
Hope-It would help if it wasn't a thousand degrees in here. I'm burning up.
Lizzie-You're burning up. Now, that's ironic.
Ameila- What does that even mean?
Lizzie- Don't play dumb. I see you. I see right through you both.
Hope-I don't know what you're talking about.
Ameila-What happened to playing nice?
Lizzie-Over. Done. I'm getting back to me. I am who I am. Right, Josie? JOSIE!
Josie pulls out her earbuds
Josie- Sorry?
Lizzie-Josie, you cannot leave me alone with just them for company.
Josie-Well, I get carsick if I don't listen to music.
Ameila- In my defense Lizzie I would ignore you too but I can't find my headphones.
Josie looked over at the girl and offered her one
Josie- here we can share.
Ameila- I thought you got car sick
Josie- I think I'll be ok
Ameila smiled at Josie thanking her. While Hope and Lizzie conutined to bicker and Lizzie tried to pull out Josie earbuds.
Ric- Girls! Girls, there is no reason to be tense or awkward, okay? Now knock it off. We're gonna get through this together. God help us all.
Kaleb-Woot. Road trip.
-Hope-I'm boiling.
Lizzie - I'm freezing.
Josie-I'm starving.
Lizzie turned and punched Hope in the arm
Lizzie- Punch buggy
Hope turned to her sister
Ameila- If you punch me I'll throw you at this window.
Dorian-Okay, sandwiches.
Ric-I'll do a sandwich.
Dorian and Emma start distburting sandwiches.
Josie-Dad, did you only pack meat?
Ric-Thank you.
Kaleb-J-Just baloney?
Josie-I told you, it's meat.
Emma then went to hand Ameila a sandwich
Ameila- no thank you
Hope who was eating her sandwich took it from Emma
Hope- she will take this thank you emma
Ameila- I'm not hungry
Hope- no no you need to eat I'm a wolf too so I know your hungry
Josie- you can just take the baloney off I know you don't like it
Ameila- you remembered
