I'll tell you a story

Ric had called Hope and Ameila into his office that morning to share the voicemail Landon left.

Landon-Hey, Ric. Sorry to take off like that, but I just needed a little time. So I'm going camping for a while. Hopefully I can catch up on classwork later. Tell Raf and Jed hi for me.

Ameila looked at the group confused knowing something was off she assumed based off her sister's reaction she agreed.

Ameila-Jed? Why would he say hi to Jed?
Hope-You should go after him. Something doesn't make sense.
Ric- Hope...
Hope- Triad already tried to come for him once. It's not safe for him out there.
Ric-We kept a massive secret from him, and I think he just needs some time to process that. I think we should respect his privacy and just wait.

Hope walked out of the office with Ameila following behind her. They made there way into the kitchen to see Lizzie covered in flour and the kitchen a hot mess with egg on the roof?

Ameila-Was there a monster attack in here?
Lizzie-There you are. Okay looks like Ameila isn't mad one less thing for us to worry about anyway. I got tired of waiting, so I attempted a banana cream pie by myself.
Hope-Where is it?
Lizzie-In the garbage.

Hope looked in the trash at the burnt pie. She wasn't sure if you could even call it a pie.

Ameila- She said "attempted."
Lizzie-So we're gonna go back to plan A, and you Hope are gonna make it for me. Status update: Josie didn't come back last night. I think she slept in Penelope's old room, which is a really good way to get hepatitis B.

Ameila was conflicted about the statement feeling jealous but felt bad for her.

Ameila-Have you slept at all? You seem a little...
Lizzie-Focused? Motivated? On point?
Hope - Sure. Yeah.
Lizzie - Not sleeping in the same bedroom means that Twin Forgiveness Cuddle is off the table. But she's been holed up in the library, so a snack offering should do the trick.
Ameila- she's in the library? Okay well goodluck with all of this.
Lizzie- wait Ameila I might need you she has a soft spot for you.
Ameila- no you aren't using me

Lizzie looked at the girl with pleading eyes.

Lizzie- please
Ameila- fine. Only as a last resort  thing. Just give her time
Hope- I told her that. At some point, you might actually have to apologize.
Lizzie- Never apologize.  Okay. Trust me, okay? This is what we do. I'm selfish, then she sulks, and then I offer baked goods.
Ameila- that's healthy.
Hope- Someone else's baked goods.
Lizzie- It's giving you something to do with yourself, isn't it? Your turn for an update. Any word from our mop-headed elf?
Hope-He says he needs time to think. Hmm. I don't know. I feel like if I could figure out the right thing to say, then he'd come back.
Lizzie- So, practice. Emma has this prism that simulates a conversation. She makes me use it to talk to my mom and my dad when I'm in a state. I'll trade you one prism for a banana cream pie.
Hope- deal.
Ameila- goodluck.

With that Ameila walked out to go find Joise

Ameila- hey jo
Josie- hey you
Ameila- you okay?
Josie- I will be
Ameila- what are you reading?

Josie pondered her question and remembered what Penelope said about not hiding it from Ameila.

Joise- it's-

Lizzie then appeared with a tray of food. Ameila looked back to see Hope standing in the hall hoping for the best.

Lizzie-I brought you some brain food.
Josie-I'm not hungry.
Lizzie-It's all your favorite things.
Josie-Which I'm sure somebody else had to tell you.

Lizzie looked taken back from the statement and looked down at Ameila who sent her a sympathetic smile. Lizzie then walked away. Ameila looked at the tray of food then back at Joise.
