"Juli!!" you yelled running up to her "wait for me!!"
You didn't know what was happening with the brunette, but she was being weird and cold towards you for the past weeks. It hurt you, a lot, because you didn't want to lose your soulmate, and for your life, you would get to the bottom of all of this!!
"I'm busy, Y/N" she said, walking faster
"I know! I just want to talk with you" you said, finally getting to her side "I only need some minutes" you promised
"I really can't talk now"
You frowned and quickly stood in front of her, cutting her walk. Julieta sighed and tried to surround you, but you were faster and you blocked her way again. The brunette gave you a cold look that made you cringe a bit, but you weren't going to move.
"Y/N-"
"Just some minutes" you said again
Julieta stared at you for a moment. She knew she was being unfair to you, that she was being childish. But she couldn't look at you without hurting herself. It was so hard seeing you happy with that guy, hearing you laugh with him, walk with him, he taking your hand.
The day she saw you two kissing, a strong hurricane hit the town. Pepa had found her crying on the kitchen floor and had run to her. The brunette had always been the strong one, the older sister that comforted everyone, but that time she couldn't help but hide in her sister's arms. Pepa knew what was it about, but she couldn't do anything (Julieta wouldn't let her hit Julián or you) only listen to her.
When the brunette started venting about how much she missed you, how she missed your private talks, your inner jokes, the way you brushed her hair, or how you'd scold her for not taking a rest. When she told her sister how much she missed you hugging her or squeezing her cheeks, that's when she realized it wasn't a simple crush anymore. She had fallen in love with you. But you were someone else's now.
Pepa felt her sister's pain as if it was hers, and the whole town suffered for it. The redhead didn't care! If Julieta couldn't be happy, no one could! (It was a victory for her when, some days later, she found the rain had ruined one of your dates)
So, Julieta tried to put distance between you two. But it was hard because from one day to another, you seemed to remember her existence. How mindful of you.
"Please" you said again, taking her out of her thoughts.
"...fine, but make it quick. I have a lot of things to do" she sighed.
You smiled and nodded. That damned smile! It was unfair how it still had the power to weaken her legs.
"I- I don't know what I did, but I wanted to apologise" you said, deciding to leave small questions aside "Whatever it was, I'm really, really sorry"
Julieta blinked before rolling her eyes "You know an apology doesn't work if you don't know what you're sorry for"
"Well, how am I supposed to know if you don't talk to me?"
"Because you should be aware of your actions" she shrugged
"Please, Juli, I'm really trying here" you pouted "Just tell me what I did so I can fix it"
"You can't" she whispered
"Of course I do!" you frowned "I promise I will!"
The brunette shook her head and fought back a smile. You had that face, the one that always told her you wouldn't stop until you accomplished your goal, the one that always made you look so young but also so adorable. She hate how it was already working on her.
