Chapter V

The wait for the letters to come was one of the longest that Izuku and Hitoshi had ever faced. Nezu of course said nothing to Izuku regarding if he or Hitoshi had made it in or not, and Aizawa and Hizashi said nothing regarding the results either.

Though when the day finally arrived, Hizashi came barging into the house absolutely ecstatic. "Sho! Toshi! Izu!! GET YOUR BUTTS IN HERE NOW!!" Hizashi shouted, activating his quirk at the very end to make sure that his family heard him.

"Hizashi!! It's too early for you to be screaming!!" Aizawa shouted as he came into the living room where Hizashi was practically vibrating with excitement.

"There here dammit! Now is the best time to be loud!! Besides, it's 2 in the afternoon Sho." Hizashi stated while Aizawa merely grabbed a blanket off of the couch and curled up before taking his seat.

Izuku and Hitoshi soon came running in, both sweating slightly from having just spared, though neither paying any mind to it once they saw the letters. Hitoshi and Izuku both took their seats beside the couch Aizawa was laying on, Hizashi immediately passing the envelopes to the two with a wide smile.

"Just think Sho! Soon you'll be teaching our boys! I'm jealous!" Hizashi cheered while Aizawa shushed him.

"You never know Zashi, they could both end up in Vlad's class, or one of them might. You know Nezu wouldn't mind seeing some "sibling rivalry" and they still need to open the letters first" Aizawa stated while Hizashi scoffed.

Hitoshi and Izuku then looked at each other, both slightly nervous about what the letters would contain. "Toshi, can you open yours first? I'd rather see good news first." Izuku asked while Hitoshi nodded, the boy then ripped open his letter to reveal a small hologram disk and a few papers.

The disk played immediately once it was set on the table, the image of All Might congratulating Hitoshi on making it into the Hero Course showing up on the hologram. The Alpha merely rolled his eyes and groaned as he listened to All Might's speech before the man finally announced he would be in Class 1-A

"I knew it! I knew you could do it Toshi!!" Izuku cheered as he jumped over his chair to hug his brother, the purple-haired boy merely laughing at the action before hugging Izuku back. Aizawa and Hizashi cheered alongside Izuku as they joined in on the hug

"Well, if I made it in then there is no way in hell you didn't! Come on!" Hitoshi shouted as he grabbed the boy's envelope and shoved it into Izuku's hands.

Though when Izuku opened his letter he merely pulled out some papers, no disk falling out as it had done with Hitoshi's. Though Aizawa immediately grabbed the envelope and dug through it as if it was purposefully hiding the disk. Hizashi watched his mate with a questioning look.

"We the staff of UA is pleased to announce that Izuku Yamada has passed the written portion of the UA entrance exam, unfortunately, you have not been accepted into the UA Hero Course program. Though we are pleased to welcome you into the UA Support Course program. Congratulations, we hope that you continue your educational adventure with us, Plus Ultra."

After Izuku had read the letter, everyone was left in both shock and anger. Though the anger was mainly from Hizashi and Aizawa. Quickly the two grabbed the letter from Izuku and began to read through the letter while Hitoshi hugged his brother tightly.

"I-It's okay, I just didn't get enough points! Besides Toshi got in s-so that's s-something good!" Izuku tried to cheer, only for a sob to break his voice at the end.

"Hey now. Problem child listen to me. You will be a hero; you'll just do it the way I did. You can get in through the sports festival. I know you will. Don't you dare give up on me." Aizawa immediately chimed in, the older Omega standing and taking Izuku into his arms, Hizashi setting down the letter and joining in on the hug while Hitoshi joined in as well.
