I avoided Sonic and Shadow at work because I'm extremely pissed off at them for causing $2,000 dollars in damages to my fucking lawn. Whenever I did see them as they walk past each other they gave each other death glares. I have no idea what is going on with them and I really want to know yet it's none of my business at the moment. I walk into the break room where Blaze, Peach and Amy were having lunch. "Hey knuckles" Amy smiled. "Hey...." I said. "What's wrong?" Blaze asked. "Oh nothing just that I woke up to Shadow and Sonic fighting in my yard and damaging it." I said as I lay my head down on the table growling. "Why were they fighting in your yard?" Peach asked. "The fuck if I know....." I said. "Here knux have some of my steak carbonara. Mario made it and it's super good. Maybe it'll cheer ya up a bit." Peach smiled. "Thanks I'm starving" I said gladly taking a plate she made. I take a bit and was hit with amazing flavors. "Damn Mario can cook!" I said. "Right?!" Peach smiled. "Right what?" "Speaking of the devil. Your girlfriend just gave me some of the food you made it's good man." "Thanks took me 2 years to get it right." Mario smirked pouring some coffee. "2 years?" We all asked. "Yep a good carbonara for a Italian is like mastering sourdough bread. It took my mama 5 years to make hers perfect." He said siping his coffee. "Huh never thought about like that." Amy said. "Hey Mario do you know what's going on with sonic and Shadow?" Blaze asked. I watch Mario choke a bit on his coffee nervously. "What no I actually don't oh look at that I gotta go..... for that....thing ya bye." He walks fast out of the room. "He knows something" we all said. I continue to eat. "So when is Rouge coming back from visiting her parents?" Amy asked Blaze. "Honestly she said she be back sometime today." Blaze smiled. I smile as well taking one last bite. "You know-" "GUYS GET IN HERE SONIC AND SHADOW ARE AT EACH OTHERS THROATS!!!" Sliver said bursting in. "WHAT?!" We all get up and start running into the lobby where sonic has Shadow in a throat lock but shadow kicks him releasing his grip on him. Shadow pulls Sonic's quills and throws him against the door. They bolt at each other and grab each other's throats. "Oh hell no!" I yelled and ran over. I get between them and grab Sonic's arm and flips him on his back and do the same Shadow stopping the fight as they both lie there sore. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO?!" I yelled demandingly. Sonic gets up fast and the next thing I knew it his lips were on mine and gasps fill the room. I push him off. "THE FUCK DUDE?!" I yelled confused. "YOU GREASY PIG!!!" Shadow yelled and the two start fighting again while standing there shocked by the sudden kiss. I started thinking then came to the realization of what's going on. I grab the two and bonk there heads together making them stop. They fall to the ground rubbing their heads. "Ok spill what's going on!" I asked already knowing the answer. "I LOVE YOU!" They both said. "Knux please choose who do you love?" Shadow asked glaring at sonic who glares at him. "Nether..." I said. "What?!" They both said standing up. "WHAT?!" Our friends said. "Nether because I'm not gay and I'm in a relationship" before anyone could respond Rouge walks in. "Helllllooooo-oooh? What happened here?" She asked. "I'll tell you over dinner hon welcome back." I said giving her a kiss. Sonic and Shadow mouths gap opened as I walk out the room with my arm around Rouge.

"Did we just fight over a guy for nothing....." Sonic asked. Shadow sighs. "Yep..."
