She thinks I'm an idiot. I can tell that smile is nothing her politely avoiding the subject, but I don't care enough to question her on it.

I just want to sleep, let the questions drown themselves in a mess of blood, after all I don't care.

•Y/n's Pov•

It was late noon, the sun was harsh, beating it's rays down on us. Sweat started collecting on our forehead only to slowly drip off. Not that we acknowledge to one another how the heat was affecting us. Nope, instead it was just about our travel.

"We won't be hitting another town till tomorrow morning. Then from there will hit Onsin around mid day."

"More waiting, I absolutely fucking love waiting. Tell me do you need a break?" He was getting aggravated, Sukuna isn't one to do well in the heat. Or admit it.

"Are you genuinely asking for me or are you getting a little drained by the heat?"

"Excuse me? A little heat doesn't affect me darling, we saw what happened to you yesterday. Don't mistake this as a concern either." His voice was a nice bitter sweet. He quite obviously had enough of me mixed with the heat.

"What's so wrong with checking in?" He had a dark glare in his eyes in response to my question.

"You're not 'checking in' you're assuming I can't handle a little heat." He practically spat at me, oh poor baby getting all offended.

"I done arguing this with you Sir." He stopped walking and turned back to me. I'll entertain this as much as I please.

"You're a delight you know." His tone was overflowed with annoyance. He's eyes killing me a million times over where I stood.

"Why thank you Sir."

"Mmhm." I walked passed him, honestly after last night I was curious as to how much I could test his own limits, if he even had any.

There where only two reactions I could think of-

1. He catches on and try's to one up me.
2. He ignores me and gets very annoyed.

But I'm willing to chance it anyway.

"Tell me Sir what brings you so much joy from burning down towns?" I knew he enjoyed chaos, destruction, causing terror, just never knew why. Its always about the why part of it I'm curious about.

"I enjoyed the suffering and terror from people. It just brings me joy." He had a dark smile, almost as wide as a young child's.

"Is that the same reason you kill anyone you order to uh- please you? Is the shock in there eyes more entertaining?" I didn't mean to ask that, it kinda just spilled out. But it didn't change the fact that I wanted the dot's to connect.

I was slightly taken aback by her question. For one Y/n never truly questions what I do. Two, I've never thought of her to be interested in certain activities I partake in.
