──────⊱⁜⊰──────"ugh, just-just come to me after graduation." shin jiyeh starts, "there'll be nothing good by yuna's side. she's still a kid."
you wonder where she's planning to go with this.
"yeonah just inherited her parent's fortune. she can't take responsibility even for her own future with her own skills, but i am different." she steps closer, still having her arms crossed, "i can definitely take responsibility for both you and ( y/n )'s future."
you stare at her in confusion, wondering when you or ijin mentioned staying with yuna.
"i have a question." ijin talks, her expression not changing, but you know he's just as confused as you are.
"obviously, you are curious about how i'll treat you. if it is about that, don't worry about it. i'll be sure to give my best, and i'm sure there's something else i can take care of."
"it's not about that..it's about me going to shin yuna after graduation. what are you talking about?"
the short haired ravennett stares in confusion as silence fills the room.
"....aren't you going out with yuna?""..no?"
a smug grin stretches jiyeh's lips,'hah, so it was a one-sided love. serves you right.'
"anyway, come to me after graduation. if you find a good job after graduation, i'm sure your family would be happy."
"..i'll think about it."
you raise your hand, "what will i get if i join you?"
"you'll get about 2 million won per month. we can negotiate to bring it higher if you want." she grins, seeing the won signs chiming in your eyes before you smile and enthusiastically nod.
"i'm in!"
"( y/n )..." ijin sighs
"( y/n ), you're not gonna eat dinner with my family and i?" ijin taps your shoulder, holding a bag of groceries in one hand.
it's your fifth day in the hospital, and you were finally given permission to be discharged. though you were strictly instructed to be careful since the bullet has pierced through your tissues.
"ah..can i? i feel like i'd be intruding."
you're on the way back to the ceo's house, with ijin walking you, voicing out his worried that you might fall and injure your leg even more along the way.
"no. my little sister and my grandpa like you more after your last visit." he smiles, patting your head as he recalls the way his grandpa hesitantly asks him to have you over for dinner.
"then, i guess i'll join. not today though, i have a few plans with the ceo." you give him a guilty look, feeling your heart jump when he almost pouts like a puppy who had a toy taken away.
"i see.."
"well, anyway, this is my stop. thank you for walking me back, ijin."

next day, after school
"ugh, my calves are killing me.." you grunt, switching the grocery bags to your other hand.
you were finally discharged from the hospital, with strict order to be careful with your movements as the bullet had pierced your tissues.
"ah, come to think of it, ijin's house is here. i should drop by and pay him a visi-"
"( y/n )-unnie, there's a misunderstanding between oppa and someone, please stop them!" dayun pulls on your shirt lightly, pointing to a direction just around the corner as she keeps insisting you to go fix the misunderstanding.
"relax, relax" you coax, but she keep trying to pull you.
"ok, ok! i'll go, so stop pulling on my poor shirt" you give in, taking your time to walk to wherever she had pointed to.
just as she said, ijin was talking to someone wearing a hoodie, the area around them messy, as if a fight had just occurred.
they were seated calmly though, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
"hey ijin!" you take an extra chair, dragging it towards the table they were settled in while placing the groceries down on the leg of the table.
"∅56..?"
a puzzled look paints your face as you turn towards the boy ijin was talking to, a look of surprise washing over your confusion when you see 032.
"holy shit!" you stand in surprise, a big smiling beginning to adorn your lips. "didn't know you'd be instructed to kill us so soon, but give me some time to adorn my favorite little guy before we fight to the death."
urging him to stand, you pinch his cheeks humming with delight as you appreciate how chubby and soft they were.
he allows you to do as you wish, already used to you treating him like a little brother. "you're alive? but the camp said you died in an ambush.." he speaks with muffled words.
"hm? oh i did almost die, but i escaped the island after i stole the enemy's boat." you hum, "i also faked my death. carved my nail off and acted like i got shot" you chuckle, finishing up with toying around before sitting down.
when you turn to look at ijin, his lips are turned down by the slightest bit, and his arms as crossed. though the wound just below his chest makes him wince by the slightest.
"..did something happen?"
" a misunderstanding." ijin sighs, turning to look at his little sister, who's still hiding by the corner.
"you should explain to her what happened."
"hm?"

after a quick rundown of how he'd come, not to eliminate ijin, but because he thought ijin had eliminated 006.
their bond had always been far too unbreakable, so you'd assume it made much more sense.
"( y/n ), why'd you betray the camp?" 032 asks, seeming determined to know your answer.
"because i wish to follow ijin."
among the other numbered ones, you were the only one who didn't seem to hate nor love the camp. you simply stayed neutral and followed whatever orders the camp had given out.
compared to you, their hate for that hell was far more than one would imagine.
of course hatred would be present. childhoods were robbed, the chance to behave and enjoy like a child was taken away as well.
you suppose your lack of any repressed feelings were the reason for your memories returning earlier than everyone else had.
the day you'd suddenly remembered the loving embrace of your mother, the cheering of your father as you took your first steps, you told ijin about it.
happily telling him of your name, you continued to secretly tell him of your life before the crash until you no longer had stories to speak about. when you'd run out, he tells you that one day he hopes to fully recover his own memory and tell you of his family.
his moments of happiness, and the times he'd spent with his mother and father, he'd tell you about them, but only when his memories have fully recovered.
