Everywhere At The End Of Time [in progress]

PART 2

So, we waited until Friday. The days seemed to slow down while we waited. Every second was being counted and awaited for. Me and Bethany were both just as excited as each other, she thought of it as an adventure, I thought of it as quick cash that I can spend and give to my dad. Me and Dave talked about it every day and we hyped it up so much, it was like going to your first high school party. Except, if the high school was filled with deadly sea monsters. Yeah very different actually. Anyway, my dad knew nothing about Friday. No one did except me, Dave and Beth. None of us really thought about the part where we are looking for dead corpses, but we didn't really care. We waited and waited until finally. It was Friday.

It was Friday morning and I had just finished my breakfast. I ate it quick and hastily because I wanted to get the school day over and done with so that the adventure could begin. It was 7:30 and me and Beth were completely ready for school.
"Wow, talk about early birds. What's got you all excited for school huh?" My dad asked, still in his dressing gown.
"Oh nothing! Just...important tests! And Beth has...art...club...Yeah Beth has art club!" I said nervously.
"I have art club?" She asked.
"Shut up!!!" I Whispered to her while smiling.
"Oh yeah! I totally have art club! And then we are going to...Daves house! Isn't that right Mark!" Said Beth in a very suspicious voice.
I nodded my head.
"Alright then...off to school then! You guys are acting like robots! Beep boop! I am a Mark bot. Beep Boop!"
Said my dad, moving like a robot and waving goodbye to us while we laughed.
When we finished laughing, I walked Beth to school and I walked to my school with Dave.
"Do you think we will be famous? Do you think we will get babes? How sick would that be dude." Said Dave.
Dave was chubby and had black hair, he always wore his "lucky t-shirt" which was a plain black shirt with a logo that said fearless on it. He was very likeable and had a cute but stupid charm. There wasn't much else to him. He was pretty normal. When we got to school, the whole day was completely normal until fourth period, we had lunch in the middle of the lesson so I went out to get some. I always kept a hood up or covered my face because there were some annoying kids that always took or me they would beat me up one day. Oh god, they picked the worse day to actually do it. I was in the lunch line and then the kids walked past me.
"Hey, Mark. You look hot. I think you need some water." Said one of them, holding a water bottle. He pressed it down and sprayed the water all over me.
"Hey watch it, assholes." I Muttered.
"What did you say big man? Go on. Tell me." Said the boy. His name was Leo. He was...annoying.
"I said WATCH IT ASSHOLES. Geez no one told me you were deaf." I said. I realised the words that had come out my mouth.

I was screwed.

Leo pushed me against a wall. No teachers helped. Of course they didn't. He pinned me against the wall and punched me in the chest a couple times.
"Wanna watch your mouth alright freak?" He Said.
I collapsed on the ground and Leo kicked me and walked away.
I was still okay though.
I quickly got up, picked up a tray and smashed it over the top of his head. The tray shattered into little pieces of plastic.
"YOU LITTLE BI-" He Screamed, as he plunged at me. He didn't finish the last but if the word, but I knew what he was going to say. He swung his fists aimlessly at my face. He kept going and going. I couldn't take it. My mouth and nose was bleeding. We were behind a corner so no one saw. But if they did then I would probably get blamed for this whole thing. When Leo had finally finished, he walked away and I felt my face burning. Like someone had ripped off my skin. I touched my face gently with my hand and when I saw all the blood, dripping warm from my hand, my eyes slammed shut and I began to pass out. I felt myself drifting off.

Before I passed out completely, I saw a group of silhouettes lingering over me and I heard screaming. Then, I was gone.
