Everywhere At The End Of Time [in progress]

PART 6

I headed to school, still having Friday on my mind, it was all so mind blowing that other entity's, advanced ones at that, have been living in the same universe as us this whole time. At least I think the same universe. As I walked, some group of popular girls stopped me in front of a gas station.
"Hey Mark." The first one said.
"I don't have any money. Sorry." I said, predicting the situation.
"We don't want money." The second one said, she was called lizzy. An annoying brunette who...is annoying.
"What do you want." I Said.
"Revenge."
After the blonde girl said this, two girls appeared behind me and began kicking and punching me in the back, and then kicking me as I was on the floor.
"Lizzy here says that you got her boyfriend in a bit of a... shape. You fought with him. He was bleeding. How could you do that? Poor lizzy."
She was referencing the kid I fought with in the lunch queue before.
The girls stopped and left me on the floor. I grew angry. A sense of determination and adrenaline rushed through me and I suddenly heard a loud       ZAP!!!!
I looked up and saw one of the girls that hurt me lying on the ground, dead.
"What...what the hell..." Said lizzy.
"Let's get out quick!" Said the blonde, running away clutching their heads.

Where did that zap come from?
I didn't know what do with the girls body so I put up my hood and pulled the stringy bits to make it tight do you couldn't see my face. I casually, nervously walked away from the corpse.
It wasn't long after until I heard sirens and screams erupt behind me, people crowding over the body. I know I shouldn't have, and I know it's horrific, but I felt...GOOD...

I arrived at school and instantly everyone was talking about the gas station girl and show she had died. It happened not that long ago, and it was already the craze of my year group. I still had that strong feeling in me. I felt like something was around that, if I wanted to feel safe, I needed to get rid of. More like someone...

I was in the lunch line and he showed up again. Leo. Lizzy's boyfriend. The guy who's friends beat me up this morning, that Leo.
"Right rat bag?" He Said.
"I'm not in the mood." I calmly told him.
"Oh I'm sorry...you know I feel so bad about absolutely DESTROYING you before that, here, have a bit of coke." As he said that, he chucked a bottle of coke all over me, it was sticky and gross. I walked outside angrily. I was getting that feeling again. He followed me, proceeding to be an absolute douchebag.
"My girls said you spooked her friend. You know Mark , I never thought of you as the vulnerable type, but here we are." He Said.
"Can you just stop so that no one gets hurt here." I told him, not thinking about what I'm saying.
A crowd was forming a circle around us. People wanted a fight.
"Alright then. Only one getting hurt here is you." He Said, spitting on the ground and beginning to charge at me.
I got that urge of adrenaline again and held my hand out, not knowing what would happen.
I realised, he was frozen, and he had a purple aura around him.
"What the hell!" He Said, not moving a muscle.
The crowd was confused, my whole body began to spark and lightning began striking randomly around me.
I lunged my hand violently to the side and slammed Leo against the wall, I had control of him. I let go and he ran at me again. He took a punch but I had already moved. So quick it blurred as I dodged. My body still sparked, I punched Leo and he flew across the playground, scraping his back on the floor.
The crowd cheered.
I felt alive.
The fun didn't last though. A teacher stormed in and saw Leo on the floor, bleeding badly, and me right in front of him, with the crowd around us. She already knew what was going on.
It was safe to say though, I won the fight.

I stood on the chair outside the office again, my dad and the head teacher screaming at each other frantically. Suddenly the arguing stopped and I was taken home.

We were in the car and my dad and he asked,
"Why did you start a fight buddy! Also, just curious, who won?"
"Me, dad. I didn't start it Leo did." I told him.
"Apparently Leo was crying and bleeding in several places." He Said, concerned.
I sighed and my dad patted my shoulder.
"Hey it's fine bud don't worry, we all do these things at least once! And I believe you. Although one thing was a bit strange, apparently other kids watching Said your eyes were glowing purple and you made lightning appear. What are they talking about, eh?" He Asked.
I didn't know what to say. Even I didn't know fully.
"Probably a new video game." I answered plainly.
"Right then. Let's get home." He Said, kissing my forehead.
We drove home and I sat on my bed.

That eye thing gave me superpowers or something. Woah.

I hadn't said it yet, none of us did, but me, Dave and Beth all knew we would be going back to that place. And we decided to call it, the flip side.
