I pulled up to my house Asher whining and howling in the back seat. I opened the door which caused him to try to get out but the leash didn't let him get far. "Hey hey hey hey shhh its okay calm down it's okay, I won't hurt you, your safe sweetie...your safe..." I said rubbing his head gently allowing him to calm down before trying to move him.

He panted softly, he needed a bath and his wounds needed to be cleaned. "I'm going to trust you not to bite me if I take this off okay?" I said rubbing his head as his breathing calmed down. He looked up at me those forest green eyes locked on me as he slowly nodded. He looked so much calmer now than he did at the auction house.

I slowly unhooked the muzzle allowing him to watch me closely. I took the leash and slowly let him see it. "This is just so you don't run off and get lost, I need to take care of you and if you get lost you'll get sent back to that scary place," I explained in a simple voice allowing him to understand I waited for him to nod.

I offered my hand smiling gently at him he took it setting his paws on the pavement. I slowly led him along with the leash as he looked around sniffing his ears swiveling as his tail swayed gently.

We walked inside and I watched his eyes widen in wonder like a child in a candy store. I unclipped the leash which made him confused. "Lost?" he asked in worry.

"No sweetie you're not lost we don't wear the leash inside this house when we leave we put it on," I explained his English might not be too good I'll have to keep that in mind and not expect too much from him.

"It's time for a bath okay?" I said offering a hand he nodded and took my hand I was happy he knew what a bath was.

Asher

It was going to be hard talking to this man while yes I could understand English (it was taught in the pack in case humans came they couldn't trick us) I always had trouble with learning how to speak more than just a few words and don't get me started on trying to make a sentence.

I followed the man up some stairs made from wood But it had something weird over it making it shiny which I thought was pretty. We walked into a room with a cold floor making me yelp and jump. "What's wrong pup?" the man asked.

I pointed at the floor and huffed. "Cold." he smiled a bit at my reaction and couldn't help but chuckle this caused me to pout.

"I'm sorry sweetie tile is kind of cold," he said starting some running water which sounded like a small waterfall it was a small homelike feeling. "Alright let's get your shorts off."

I raised an eyebrow and cocked my head in confusion. "Well we have to clean all of you, sweetie," he explained as steam filled the room making me smile softly normally water was ice cold unless we found a hot spring.

I watched as the wolf pup relaxed so I decided to put some lavender oils in the bath to help him feel better I think the bubbles would just confuse him more. "Alright come here puppy," I said kneeling and waving him over.

He listened but he was still a little nervous with me but that was okay I didn't expect him to trust me when he just met me. "Do you want help taking your shorts off?" I said rubbing his head gently.

It looked like he thought for a moment before he pointed at himself I took note of his claws they needed a trim so he didn't scratch me by accident or scratch up the furniture. "Alright, hun I'll turn around okay?" I told him so he didn't feel uncomfortable. He nodded and gave me a thankful smile.

I turned around and waited until I heard him step into the water.
