That night they came. That night we fought. That day, we lost.
I was at home, with Ma, Da and Lori, we were sitting down for the evening meal.
"Kit, tea's ready!" Ma yelled.
"Coming!" I yelled back as I said bye to my friends. We sat down to eat my favourite food, fly pie. We just started to eat, as we heard the siren go. Puzzled I looked at Ma, I had studied the siren, all its calls and what they meant, I hadn't hear this in a long time. Why now? I asked myself.
"The tree like me and Da taught you both, Quickly!" Ma said to me and my sister, Lori. By now the house was surrounded by the city, to protect Ma and Da, they are there king and queen, me and Lori princess.
"I want to help!" I exclaim.
"You know you can't fight this fight honey." Da say's. I nod, I can't fight they want me. Ma and Da suite up and prepare to fight, me and Lori run to the tree as we were told when we were little. I'd been to many meetings with Ma and Da when I was young, everyone ending with 'for the princess and the princess only'. I didn't understand this until I grew older, I was the one the legends talked about, the greatest warrior in the land. The one to defeat the evil. This shone in my battle training and battle strategy.
Me and Lori climbed the tree, Lori is a lot younger than me and still doesn't understand the meetings and legends yet, as she has not started school yet, only days until she finds out. Until she finds out who I really am. Until she finds out what I am.
The sounds deafened me, the screams, oh the screams. I could have helped them. I should have helped them. We stayed in the tree for what felt like hours, my people screaming, we couldn't watch, we couldn't watch them die.
Suddenly, all went quite. I heard whistling.
"MOVE!!" I screamed. It was to late, it flew, flew and hit its target. Lori. My eyes filled with tears, she was too young. The yellow blood, pouring from her chest. It was an exact hit, her heart. 'Only one person can do that, he's dead, how!' I thought, confused.
"Kit?" She said, struggling to breath.
"Yeah?" I sniffled.
"Sing for me, please." She said.
"Haha", I smiled "Ok, Lop." Lop was her nickname I gave her when she was born and I've called it her ever since. I began to sing.
'Little Lop, oh Little Lop
So much for you,
The fire for you,
The sky for you,
The land for you.

Little Lop, oh Little Lop,
The earth is yours,
The air is yours,
The heat is yours.
But promise me one thing,
Never love anything more than me.

"Promise." She said as she drew her last breath and fell lifeless in my arms.
"Noooo!!" I screamed tears streaming down my face. Anger fills me. I snarl, as I look over my shoulder, to where the arrow came from. The fighting is still going on but my eyes lock on one person, it's blurred but the person is staring right back at me. 'It can't be, I killed him' I think 'it's just blurred'. I turn back to lay Lori down and put a blanket over her. As I examine the arrow, I see the siren was correct, they are here, and they've come for me.
"No more people will die today, on my behalf!" I say angrily to myself. I climb down the tree and sneak back to the house, to my room. I pull away the wardrobe, revealing a door, and put it in front of my room door. I take my dog tags off of my neck and hold them up to the door. A loud beep opens the door. My 'suite', as Ma calls it, a black top and legging. I replace my current clothes with these. Another door is revealed behind where my top was. On my dog tags there a key I use this to open the door. Revealing my weapons, bow, knives, pistol and throwing knives, and my ammo belt which hold magazine's for my pistol and more throwing knives. Also my quiver containing lots of arrows with my symbol on the end which is my throwing knives, a knife with a red mark across the blade. I put the belt on, throw the quiver over my shoulder and grab my pistol, putting it in my belt, put the throwing knives and knives in my pocket and put my bow over my shoulder. Then replace everything and leave my room. as I climb the stairs up, it seems frightening quite. I got outside and there's only a few left, of my side. Ma, Da and some others. No one see's me so I duck to cover and remove the bow from my shoulder. It feels cold and light in my hand.
"I haven't used you in a long time have I?" I say to it, as if it can hear me "What did that nasty hideout do to you?".
I slowly and quietly remove and arrow from the quiver and place it in my bow. As I pull the string back I choose my target.
"He'll do for you won't he?" I say looking at one of them. Then I let the arrow fly. It hits him with perfect precision. Suddenly, the fighting stops. The opposition look to their fallen soldier, some gasp other shiver. On the other hand, Ma and Da look to each other worried. I'm more confused now as they'll win now I'm fighting. Then the fighting begins again. I continue to aim and fire, hitting every target like always. Then HE come's from behind them. I knew it was him I saw, but I thought I killed him. He fires his weapon, the two, other than Ma and Da, fall dead. Then they surround Ma and Da, I can't see them so I begin to panic. The mob separates, revealing them tied up and he appears.
"Come out come out where ever u are!" HE says. I tense, even his voice makes me feel sick. I fire and arrow at his feet.
"Maybe this will make you come out!" HE shout, pointing a gun at Da. I run out.
"Hahaha there you are, it's nice to see you again!" He laughs as I'm brought to him and thrown at his feet. I spit at him.
"You should be dead!" I growl.
"You mean like you sister?" He chuckles as her dead body is brought forward. Ma and Da gasp and Ma begins to cry.
I snarl.
"No you deserve to me sliced up in to little tiny pieces while your still alive then boiled and fed to the dogs!" I say spitting every word at him as I stand up.
"This is the girl all you guys joined our army for, tell me is she like the story's?" He asks talking to his men now.
"No, she's brave. that's not in the story's" one man shouts.
"She's not brave when I do this." He says followed by to loud bangs. I scream and fall on my nee's. I begin to cry, as I look over to where my parents lay, dead. I breath in as I hear a laugh arise from them. I slowly unhook one of my throwing knives from my belt and smile, evilly. I throw it toward him, hitting him in the arm. The laughing stops and he pulls it out his arm. I stand up and face him. I smile. He waves his hand and his men. 'What's he doing?' I wonder. Then there all around me. I fight the mob but my power is lost when I see my family, dead. the cave in, bound be and gag me. The crowd parts and he stands in front of me.
"Your going to hell!" He says then hits me, knocking me out.

BRING, BRING, BRING. The bell goes. I run out the room, green tears streaming down my face. They all start laughing at me.
"Cry baby, cry baby!" They taunt.
They don't know what has happened to me, for them they were picked. They were picked for this school, I was forced. I've been here six months and still have no friends. I'm at this school full of humans apart from me and a few others. ROMA SCHOOL OF WAR. This is Kit, and this is my life.
