"TOBY!!" I scream I run to him but chains stop me.
"Haha let me help you." he says, he produces something sharp from his pocket, puts it in the lock and turns it. He then put the object back in his pocket and stands in front of me. I shake free of the chains, run to him and give him a hug.
"It's so good to see you." he says.
"How long have you been in here?" I ask.
"I don't know all I remember was blacking out, out there," he nods to the door "then I woke up in here."
"Did they hurt you?" I ask worried. he shows me his arm, there's a very deep cut in it. "Oh no I'm so sorry."
"Why are you saying sorry? it's not your fault." He says.
"But it is." I say.
"What do you mean?"
"Does the name 'the evil one' sound familiar?" I ask
"Yeah we were told lots of myths about that, why?" He answers.
"It's me." I whisper. I run to the back wall.
"I-I-I don't understand" he says. "whoever you are your always going to be like a sister to me." I turn around at this.
"Do you mean that?" I ask.
"Yeah!" He answers. I smile. "Did they hurt, you?" He asks. I show him my back.
"Wow that looks like it hurt." he says.
"Nah not that much, training helped." I reply.
"Ah yeah" he says.
"Wait! Al? Al are you ok?" I ask, no reply.
"Who's Al?" Toby says.
"Wait and see." I say.
"Al please AL!!!" I shout. Toby looks very confused.
"H-h-h-hello?" Al says shakily. Toby's face looks like he's just seen a ghost.
"Al are you ok?" I ask.
"Yeah is you and Toby I'm more worried about." Al answers.
"It's knows my name." Toby says.
"Look at this!" I say to Toby. "do you remember?" I click my fingers. A ball of light appears. Toby's eyes widen.
"I remember!" He says. "that's when they took me. When I was betrayed." he says then his face sinks.
"Did Tom bring you here?" I ask carefully and quietly.
"Yes." he whispers.
"Kit put your hand on Toby's cut, I need to show you something" Al says. Me and Toby look at each other confused but I do as Al told me. A pink light glows around his arm.
"What's he doing?" Toby asks. I gasp, then take my hand off his arm.
"OMG you healed it!" Toby exclaims. My body starts to glow.
"Owwww!" I shout. the glowing stops and I fall to the floor.
"Kit? Kit are you ok?" Toby says. after a short silence I say yeah and then get up.
"Kit! I have some good news from Chloe!" Al shouts.
I gasp " is it what I think it is?"
"They're free, and coming I sent them out co-ordinates." Al says. my eyes light up and I hug Toby.
"What's happening?" He asks.
"Tim is coming to get us!" I say. his eyes light up too.
Kit? Al says in my head.
Yeah? I think.
You can give Toby a power too. we are all different however.
HOW i think excitedly.
Before you go to fight hold his hand and drain the lights.
"Toby do you want powers?" I ask him.
"Hell yes." he answers excitedly.
"Ok do as I say.." I say then explain how to do it.
"You ready?" I ask.
"Yep." he says. I begin to drain the lights outside so that they come to check on us. It works, Tom come to check. Me and Toby hold hands, and I fully drain the power. Toms face becomes very angry and he pulls out a gun. A green light surrounds us and we float in the air. Toby's eyes fill with green. Tom aims the gun at Toby. The green light stops and we fall back down. I jump i front of Toby. Just as Tom pulls the trigger.
