Meet Megan Rost. She's spent the last 2 years pretending to be a mute. In truth, she's a mutant with the capability to compell people simply by asking them to. When her parents are killed by a group of mutants, she runs away, trying to stay alive without using her powers.

Meet Logan. He's the one the Professor assigned to retreiving Megan. When he finally finds her, he realizes she has the Brotherhood after her, and they will do anything to have her in their possesion. The two of them have to make it back to New York, but with Megan's constant fainting spells and the Brotherhood almost always a step ahead, it's possible that someone will have to go. But who?
