When I feel black and blue and I know you feel that way too.
We both have ink hearts
The ink penetrates through our skin living a dark hole in and between because of the way it passes through
Some may call me ugly. No one is born ugly
And to me no one is as I am
They may be beautiful but I have more beauty than they can't withstand
To them not that lovely
But I am lovelier than the wings of a dove
They crave for earthly treasures
I crave for things far above.
My skin is fresh and my tone is almost that underlined
I can shout a thousand letters
But no one understands what they pray.
They make us tilt our heads one side when we talk
Not because of our instability to stand
But we did not have our shields of protection
So we hid ourselves to one another's strength
To defend ourselves to the end
So that anytime they tried to deceive
We won't end up like how Satan did to eve
And with our hoods on
We stood our ground to what they said
Notwithstanding the pains inside
Trust me cover girls don't cry...
