Ovalsan log submitted: I thought on Harry Potter nowadays are just old hats it just the world of magic hiding in place site of the muggle world where oh most is no one the wiser and my problem with it nowadays is just to medieval with its way of Performing Magic wands are just something anyone could make stuff are alot better if the wands can make energy blades for fencing it would add some interests but that'd be too familiar just some why can't technology be in some way or form added to the mix their a thing call Alchemy you know.
Whenever their a set of rules for magic it leave have most people question these rules then others now their is the Disney Genie rules where you can't have a wish to kill anyone or fall in love nor bring back from the dead.
Next their also necromancy that's always something that's contradicts it and also the circle thing where you have to remember the spell in mind which is mostly a Disney thing nowadays but what about Pantheon Magic like the Greek Norse Egyptian and so on.
Next their also magic that have contract based principles to whoever you make a deal with someone or something and the price once it completed.
Now Mana that's a different subject we have to cast a spell that's from the life force of whatever around it and does have to return to the Earth yeah Circle of life and all that.
D&D magic however have no laws nor limits apart from these ones on imagination you may say.
And their could be Magic teachings that would almost sound like old hats by now like a defense against the dark arts how would you learn on how to defend against it if there's almost no way to learn anything new of dark arts there have to be a yin and yang magic can't always be black and white there is always something contradicting the Mojo.
As for my personal study of the magic that I can wield it more on oh seeing the evil in one heart and can invoke death to scare them straight or just kill for fun but there are some even though it had some side effects in result of study it have some shall we say demonic results let's say there's some fire and blood in the mix and the gate if you know what I mean that is.
