*Missing*

——————————🧟‍♀️—————————

We started our journey to Fort benning, 125 miles in the other direction.

Daryl and T-dog were loading up some more fuel.

I sat next to Sophia. Holding her close.

"Are we going to be okay?" She whispered.

"Yes I won't let anything happened to you" I spoke placing a kiss on the top of her head.

The group tried to cut down as many cars as possible.

To save fuel, Daryl's truck burned gas like crazy, so he decided to switch to Merle's bike.

"You still wanna ride, girl?" Daryl asked roaring his bike to life.

"I've uh- never been on one before." I said.

"You'll be fine, hop on." Daryl said motioning with his head for me to get on.

I swung my leg over and placed my hands on his hips.

He moved the bike forward. I squealed.

"Calm down" he chuckled.

I loved hearing his laugh, it made me happy in a world full of monsters.

"You need one of those bars on the back." I said over the engine.

"A sissy bar?" Daryl questioned.

"Is that what they call it?" I replied unsure of biker lingo.

"Yeah" Daryl nodded chuckling again.

"I don't need a sissy bar" I pouted.

"I know, just hold on tight, I won't let you fall, princess." Daryl said as he rode on.

The vibration on the bike and my tight grip around Daryl flooded to my core.

Vagina, not now please.

Daryl led the caravan.

I hugged onto Daryl tighter as he sped up.

"Slow down!" I yelled.

"Don't be a baby, I told yeah I'd keep you safe." Daryl yelled back a smirk covering his adorable face.

"I ain't a baby, just don't want you to act like evil kin nevil." I pouted.

"So don't do this?" Daryl said hitting the throttle more.

I squealed as the bike jerked forward.

I squeezed my hands tighter into Daryl's waist.

"Stop it!" I giggled.

"Alright sorry princess" Daryl laughed.

I laid my head on his back. Enjoying the feeling of the bike. Daryl tensed up at first at my action, but stopped and relaxed into my embrace.

"Where did you learn to ride?" I asked trying to strike up conversation with him.

"My brother, this is his bike, he'd kick my ass if he knew I was ridin it" Daryl chuckled at the memory of Merle.

I liked Merle, he was okay to me, I mean sure he was an asshole, but he didn't force himself onto anybody. He used his words mostly. He wasn't a creepy rapist or peeping Tom. He was a douchebag, but not like Shane. He knew he was a douchebag he admitted it.

As Shane hid behind being a good man, even though I could tell he was far from that.

"Yeah still scared back there?" Daryl asked breaking me out of my thoughts.
