*Death, Murder, Fighting.*

Alessia's POV.

The day after Merle died was rough, I spent the night holding Daryl as sobs rocked throughout his entire body.

Merle died for me, I killed Merle, I broke the man I am so in love with, heart.

"He needs you more then he needs me, suga."

Merle's voice echoed throughout my head, Daryl got up early, Michonne and him were going back to get Merle's body.

I walked past the cells, we would either live or die today, and I didn't want to miss a single second.

As I passed Carl's cell I stopped, he was staring at a framed picture.

"Hey buddy, what's up?" I spoke leaning on the doorway to his cell.

"Nothing." Carl mumbled softly.

"What's the picture of?" I asked softly sitting next to him on his cot.

He held a picture of before the turn, Lori, Rick and a few years younger Carl together, smiling holding each other.

"I didn't want, Judith to forget our mom." Carl said softly.

"Judith? I love it." I smiled softly at the name for the newest member of our group.

"She won't forget, because she will always have her totally badass big brother to tell her all the stories." I smiled.

"Thanks Al." Carl smiled.

"Anytime buddy." I smiled kissing the top of his messy brown hair.

The plan was for Hershel, Beth, Judith, and Carl to go out and hide while we fought. They packed up as much supplies as they could in case we got overrun and had to flee or if we all died and they had to flee.

Carl was pissed his dad wouldn't let him stay and fight, but he was just a kid.

They packed a car to leave.

"He just misses his mom." I said softly to Rick.

"I know." Rick said looking down at the ground.

"He'll be alright, he's strong." I smiled at Rick.

I went to find Daryl, he was sitting staring at Merle's motorcycle.

"He gave his life, so we could have a chance, so they wouldn't kill me instead of him." I said softly.

I offered him my hand, he took it, I helped me stand to his feet.

Daryl's lips softly touched mine, in a light peck, he didn't say anything, but his bright blue eyes told a story of their own.

"You should go with Hershel, Beth, lil ass kicker, and Carl." Daryl said lightly.

"No, I'm not leaving, no way, I'm fighting." I said sternly.

"I can't loose you too." Daryl mumbled.

"You won't." I said holding each side of his face in my hands, my thumbs lightly rubbing his cheeks.

Daryl leaned his forehead against my own.

"I love you." Daryl whispered softly.

My heart jumped out of my chest.

Daryl Dixon was not known for admitting his feelings, he never knew love, but he loved me.

I smiled as I responded to him.
