**The Good is Within You, Merle Dixon**

Alessia's POV.

The next morning, I woke up with a strange feeling in my stomach, I knew something was going to happen.

Daryl wasn't in my cell when I woke up.

"Hey Maggie." I said looking down at her hands. I saw a ring.

"Oh my fucking god!" I yelled.

I grabbed her hand staring at the ring on her finger.

"YOU'RE MARRIED!" I yelled jumping up and down.

"Yes, Glenn asked me this morning." Maggie smiled.

I wrapped her in a huge hug.

"I'm so happy for you and Glenn!" I said.

"Well maybe Daryl will put a ring on your finger soon enough." Maggie winked.

"I don't think Daryl is the type to wanna get hitched, but as long as we are together I'm okay with that." I smiled

"Girl, you got that man wrapped around your finger from the moment he laid eyes on you." Maggie smiled.

"He's a good man." I smiled, blushing staring at the ground.

"You seen Daryl?" I asked.

"Rick, my daddy, and him are talking outside about what they are gonna do about the governor." Maggie replied.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Your getting married bitch." I whispered kissing her on the cheek before I walked by.

I caught Daryl as he was entering the prison, he had a look on his face, I knew something was wrong.

"Hey, Dare, what's wrong?" I asked holding onto his forearm.

"Nothing it's uh-" he stuttered.

"Daryl." I whispered.

"The governor wants Michonne, we hand we over, Woodbury stands down, Rick doesn't want anyone to know, he's getting Merle involved." Daryl said staring at the ground, lightly shaking his head back and fourth.

"Holy shit." I whispered.

"It's gonna be a secret, I shouldn't of told you." Daryl mumbled.

"Hey, we'll figure this out." I said giving him a comforting smile.

Daryl leaned his forehead against mine.

"I just want my brother back." He whispered softly.

"I know, and you will." I said softly.

"I can talk to him." I said brushing Daryl's now long messy brown hair out of his face.

"Thank you." Daryl whispered.

"Always." I smiled.

Daryl's lips captured mine, rarely did Daryl show affection where people could be watching, but it made me smile into the kiss.

He needed me, just as much as I needed him.

Alessia's POV.

I walked down the empty corridor. Daryl informed me that Merle would be there looking for "a hit." I knew that meant drugs of some sort.

"Dixon." I called out.

"Hey, suga." Merle smirked.

"You don't need to be the bad guy Merle." I started right off the bat.

"You know?" Merle asked his eyebrows furrowing in confusion to how I knew about the deal.
