A woman opened the door, her elbow touching the glass-stained door with a giddy smile plastered on her face. She sent a brief goodbye to the employees, thanking them for her drinks, and began to walk out. Outside of the small boba shop, a young girl in her pre-teens was waiting for her on top of a vehicle, the White Dragon Horse.

Mei is a young pre-adult. She has black short hair, two pigtails on opposite sides, and green dye on her side bangs. Mei wore a plain white shirt and plain white pants, and over her was a green, gold graphic design. On her back was the Dragon Horse imprinted on her back.

"Ooh, Mei~!" The woman sang, shaking their boba drinks. "I finally got our drinks." She skipped over to the girl, happily giving her favorite Melo Boba drink to her.

Mei, who was busy on her phone, perked up from her seat and grinned. "Thank you, (Y/N)! You're the best~" She said, grabbing the Melo Boba from (Y/N)'s grasp and began to drink it.

(Y/N) pushes her raven hair back, grimacing in annoyance at the wind before smiling back at Mei. "I know," She giggled, taking a sip of her boba.

(Y/N) has long ravenette hair that can almost reach the ground with half her hair tied into a bun wrapped in pink silk. She wore a dark gray zipper sleeveless crop top followed by a white wrap wrapped around her waist and had dark blue cargo pants to complete the look. Finally, she wore fingerless gloves over her arms and hands.

Mei darted back to her phone, went to her gallery app, and showed a specific picture to (Y/N). "Take a load of this!" She taps the screen. (Y/N) blinked, leaning towards the screen, a smile beginning to lift from her lips.

In the picture were Mei and her parents. Mei was wearing her traditional Dragon Clan Hanfu with Mrs. Dragon, who also wore the same outfit, standing behind her with her hand placed on Mei's shoulder. Mr. Dragon, who stood on the other side, was wearing the male Hanfu, his hands gesturing up to a large canvas, presenting it proudly with a grin on his face.

"Would you look at that? They do like it," (Y/N) patted her chest in relief. When she first presented her biggest project that the Dragon family had requested her to do, both Mr. and Mrs. Dragon had nothing but poker faces that concerned her. But seeing the picture right here and now made those worries wash away.

Mei giggled at the frightened woman. "Well, of course," She snapped her phone off. "Why else would they request you instead of those amateurs?" Mei boldly says, letting out a sass scoff.

"Oh, Mei.." (Y/N) shook her head amusingly at her. Mei can be bold when it comes to stating a statement or pointing things out of the ordinary, but that's one thing the woman loved about her. Cheerful, giddy, Mei.

The woman chewed on her tapioca pearls, noticing the lack of liquid in her cup. "Hm, how's MK doing? Taking breaks? Resting well?" She asked. The sound of concern can be recognized in her tone.

Mei rubbed her chin. Quiet hums rumbled from her lips. "Yeah, you can say that..." She muttered. (Y/N) raised a questionable brow before narrowing her eyes at the young girl.

"Don't tell me the both of you are up playing games again," (Y/N) gave her a scolding glare. Mei nervously laughed, avoiding the woman's heated gaze that was centered on her.
