"I'm so glad you could join me, Ms. Lian," Said Mr. Wu, pouring both he and (Y/N) a cup of tea, brewed and steamed as the warmth of the liquid quickly engulfed her cold hands as soon as she grasped the small porcelain cup, offered by Mr. Wu.

Mr. Wu is an elderly gentleman who has lived through numerous experiences. He is kind and wise. Despite moving slowly, he is capable of moving quickly when necessary. Mr. Wu had long white hair that was braided and a long white beard that stopped at his chest area, according to his outward look. He is dressed in a white kimono with a scarlet belt knotted around his waist and wears a conical straw hat.

(Y/N) softly drank the tea, gulping the sweet, bitter taste as she pulled her lips away from the teacup. She smiled at the elderly man sitting next to her. "Well, of course!" She chirped, setting the teacup down on the coffee table.

As racers entered the area with their race cars, the woman leaned back against her seat and cast her eyes downward. "Now that I think about it. How did you get the VIP tickets? Mr. Wu?" (Y/N) folded her legs, looping one over the other, suspiciously switching her gaze from the racers to Mr. Wu.

The white-bearded man chuckled heartily at (Y/N), only raising a finger to his lips and gently shushing her before attention to the racers below them. "That is something I can't tell you, dear one," He said, holding up his teacup lightly with the palm on his hands, cupping the cup around with the other as he took a quick sip.

(Y/N) rolled her eyes at him, shaking her head, as he and she watched the race, waiting for the timer to go off so that competitors could prepare for the race.

"We're now just minutes away from the start of the race as the drivers make their final preparations-"

Mr. Wu caught something at the corner of his eyes on the road, raising a brow in amusement. He taps a finger at (Y/N)'s shoulder, grabbing her attention for him to point down. "I see that MK and Mei have decided to participate," He says, talking about the race, chuckling. "Did you know this?"

"Hm?" (Y/N) blinked, her brown eyes peering down at the race course. She could feel herself stifling her giggles, seeing Mei and MK down at the racing track in their vehicle, chattering and bickering at each other like usual. (Y/N) lazily laid her leg on the other. "I suspect Mei would participate, but MK? Now that's a shocker," She said to Mr. Wu.

Mei judges MK and his delivery cycle as she moves her eyes up and down. "You're serious? Right?" She said, tightening her grip on the handle of her Dragon Horse Bike. "Don't you have Monkie Kid vehicles back in Sandy's boat?"

"Uh- Well yeah," MK shrugged. "But it doesn't hurt to use this one."

"So, you're doing this?" Her face deadpanned, narrowing her eyes at her best friend. "You're really going to try and race me, MK?" She said, her tone serious and challenging. She wanted to be alright with MK participating in the race alongside her, but she had never known MK to be the sort to join in such events, considering he's a hero and all in Megapolis.

MK and Mei have different interests and hobbies. Mei is committed to dedicating some of her time to pursuing activities that align with her interests. So for MK to join her in a race... made it hard for Mei to consider those chances to win.
