002. rollerblading & ernie's!
MUSIC PLAYED FROM THE PARKas the seven rangers were rollerblading down the street.
The air pushed against Maeve's curly hair, letting it fly all over the place.
The girl ducked below a tree that was coming over, and followed the others as they swerved around a corner.
Tommy leaped into the air, and did a 180 and started to skate backwards.
"Show off," Maeve snorted as she rolled down the street.
The seven of them glide around another corner, buildings surrounding them on the right and a construction sight on the left.
"Lets take the shortcut!" Tommy announced.
Tommy led them up a plywood ramp, everyone launching themselves ten feet through the air, each pulling a free style move. Maeve twisted her body into a twirl, landing on the construction site parking structure. They rolled away, their laughter mixing into the loud noises of the construction site, not knowing what was going to happen next.
Different construction workers were operating heavy machines: cranes, bulldozer ,etc..
One construction worker jack hammered into solid rock. The drill made a loud CLANG as it hit metal. A baffled look overcame the man's face as he stopped the jackhammer, brushing away some of the debris, uncovering an ancient looking iron plate. He gaped at it, too stunned to speak.
A little while later a large hook was fastened to the iron plate. A crane engine roared as it hoisted the plate up, revealing a cavern like opening.
Two more construction workers joined the man who discovered the weird space. All of them looked at the opening in amazement.
"Wadda you figure it is?" One of the construction worker asked the other two.
"Hey, you got me," The other said, shrugging his shoulders.
Suddenly, purple steam poured from the opening.
A menacing stone claw rises up from it, cradling a huge stone.
". . . I'll be damned," said the construction worker that found the lid in the first place.
As if he was in a trance, he went out to touch it.
KZAAAAAAP?!!
A purple beam of light blasted him, sending him ten feet through the air.
"AHHHHHHHH!" The man screamed as he flew through the air, before hitting the ground roughly.
