Crypto and Wattson's third teammate was taken out early in the game, but they made their way to the final two squads in this week's match in Olympus.

Olympus had been transformed, just about teleported into Malta's sky for only the Syndicate's knowledge to be known why.

All the legends, especially Wraith had freaked out when mysterious objects from the Void had started to fall from the sky and crash into Olympus' surface.

Crypto took names when he was with her. He was never a show off but subconsciously he believed that he just wanted to impress her by only being a team of two against squads of three.

The static maiden looks at Crypto as she's tackled by a mysterious figure.

"Wattson!" Crypto says "look out!"
It's already too late. Mad Maggie tumbles down the hill with and drops Wattson on her knees with her Peacekeeper.

"Cant keep up" she says in a heavy
Australian accent

Crypto sees Maggie load in another slug into her Peacemaker as Wattson groans in pain and her blood spills out of shirt.

"I can't forgive you for that"

"I don't take no prisoners."

A thin red line on Wattson's cheek appears and starts trickling down her face down to her chin. She smiles at Crypto although he knows she's in pain.

"It's okay mon ami.. I'll see you after the match, okay?"

Crypto reaches out his hand in dramatic approach as Maggie finishes Wattson off hitting her right in the chest with a single shotgun slug. He watches as her body disappeared from the simulation and became a death box.

"Neither do I" he says clenching the fist that was once held out for hers.

Mad Maggie looks down at Crypto and tilts her head to the side. "What's got your panties in a knot? The girl was just your squad mate.. unless?"

The defeated Crypto looks away from her tanned and angry face. He notices that everyone in the world is watching this match and he wasn't going to embarrass himself in front of the whole world.

You hurt my girl.

Crypto pulls out his drone from his back pocket and flips it out to hit Maggie straight in the face leaving a diagonal cut right through her brow.

"Really, I want to know. Why is Crypto, the reserved champion Crypto so angry about losing his teammate?"

Crypto's brow furrows and he hits her again, this time with his fists

"It's just a game mate."  She spits to the side, blood on the grass

"I'll see you after the match" she recalls "what does that even mean? y'all are friends?"

Crypto grabs her by the neck and she grins widely at him

"You know well that the Syndicate don't do friendships, or more. That's not what these games are about."

Crypto is caught off guard with her comment

Maggie smirks and seizes this opportunity to escape. She headbutts him and knocks his grasp away.
Crypto stumbles and runs towards Wattson's box, he slides and grabs her banner even though there isn't a respawn beacon left in the ring. He stares down at her banner as her position moves on the virtual background.

Blood trickles down his nose and he wipes his face on his sleeve as a red mark smears across it. He doesn't care what he looks like. He just wants to win. For her.

Back in the drop room, Wattson sees Crypto and he looks determined and angry, she hasn't seen him this way since everyone went on break. Something in him had changed.

Crypto runs up to a vantage point and grabs  a Triple Take to finish off the weakened Maggie and her teammates. His shots made such lovely sounds.

It was too easy for him. Like a man possessed he took the champion title for himself and he didn't say a word for the rest of the ceremony.
