A/N: This is a very fluffy chapter. Also mentions self harm. I'd love it if you all would give me comments or feedback! I don't bite!💕

Crypto woke up first.

He was always an early riser. An early bird. Crypto was always hardworking and dedicated to his work. That was the Apex Games. Finding the truth of his framing, always hiding, always never trusting anyone.

But, for once, he did not want to get out of bed. He was wrapped up with Wattson in the sheets.  He didn't move. He just held her in his arms. She wore the same nightgown that she did the night she was attacked, but she wasn't violated last night, she was finally accepting someone fully who could truly take care of her.

Crypto was still in his boxers, that's it. The metal parts of his body and chin shone against the sunlight coming through the curtains. His tan skin glowed from the sweat that coated his body from last night. He blushed as he looked at the golden haired girl that had yet to awake. Her eyelashes were so long and curled, her freckles were sprinkled like faerie dust. He gently stroked her face with one of his hands, the other still wrapped around her waist, holding her close all night. Crypto closed his eyes and kissed her forehead, pushing a couple of blonde strands of hair out of her face.

This was his reason. He didn't care about the truth anymore. All he needed was her, Natalie. His true love that he had waited for his whole life.

He smiled. Genuinely.

Crypto rolled out of bed gently, trying not to wake the static maiden. He slowly strolled over to his drawers and pulled out some dark blue jeans and a black tank top. He pulled on the shirt that handsomely outlined the muscles on his arms and pectorals. He yawned and exited the room, leaving the door to the bedroom  open, to watch over Natalie. Crypto was always the paranoid type, especially since he learned his feelings for Natalie. He would kill anyone who dared to harm her. He would risk his life to save hers in a heartbeat. There was no hesitation when it came to his love for her.

Crypto went to the kitchen and opened up the fridge.

What do French people have for breakfast?

After looking over a couple of articles on his tablet he knew what to make.

"Un... prod- produit.. lait..?" Crypto sighed "jojdwaess-eo; yogurt."

He took some vanilla yogurt from the fridge and poured it into a small glass bowl, then he took some strawberries, washed them and cut them up. He poured them on top. Strawberries are her favorite. He recalled.

He started to brew some coffee for the both of them. He had a Keurig that Gibraltar had given him for his birthday 2 years ago when Wattson insisted on throwing him a birthday party when she figured out his birthdate. She went all out, decorated Mirage's ship to the t with confetti, streamers, and balloons. He was so embarrassed, she had told everyone.

The coffee grinding in the coffee maker was relaxing. The aroma of beans filled the air of his apartment. He leaned against the counter and looked up at the bare ceiling. He enjoyed feeling like he was living a normal, domesticated life but his life was far from normal. He knew he would have to return to the Apex Games eventually, but.. He needed to be with Natalie. He needed to make sure she wouldn't die there. That's not what their lives always have to be.

While the coffee was coming down into the pitcher he grabbed a knife from the drawer, cut the croissants in half and laced them with butter. That's the way he liked his, so he was sure she'd have the same preference. He placed the other half of the croissant on top. He placed everything on a white plate and then placed the plate on a light blue tray. The coffee had finished so he poured it into two white coffee mugs and put them down on the counter. He placed in two sugar cubes and some cream in hers. Just the way she likes it. He took his with only one sugar cube.
