“Now we will make a pact of peace with Monsters. From today on monsters are able to walk around with no problem.” said the president with a smile. He shakes hands with someone that looks like a goat. The goat had a crown like a king.
‘Probably it’s the king of monsters… he seems like a kind king’ I thought as I saw him smiling at the president. After that everyone started cheering and clapping. Humans and monsters were now enjoying the festival together. There were little stores and games like in the fairs. Everything seemed to be fun. I saw a man who was selling cotton candy, so I went to buy him some cotton candy.
As I went up to him, I shyly asked for some cotton candy. After buying it, I felt a little better. Talking with people is something that gives me anxiety because of my lack of confidence. I sat on a bench near a tent that had balloons and you had to hit it with a dart, which you win a prize depending on how many balloons you hit.
I started eating my cotton candy as I watched people walking and talking with others. Everyone was having a good time which made me feel glad. I decided I would check around the fair and try to be social for once in life.
I finished my cotton candy and I started to walk around as I admired everything that was around. I wanted to buy things from each store fair, but I didn't have that much money on me. 'I should have brought more money. (;n;)' I thought as I put my head down. I shook my head side to side as I tried to forget that and enjoy myself being at the festival. I saw some people were looking at me, I flustered from embarrassment and ran away from them.
'I couldn't believe that I embarrassed myself in front of people, now everyone would think I'm a weirdo!?' I thought while I was running. I was still running until I bumped into someone and fell to the ground again. It felt like Deja vu...
