How to Write a Review

I have expressed my thoughts on the Discord server about this and I will also say something here because there are many judges who aren't part of the community. 

Please, for all things good, do NOT write a 2 sentence review. What is an author supposed to do with that feedback? 

"The book was great. They have some things they need to work on but overall it's great."
(This is not an actual review)

Sure, that's a basic review that literally is the bare minimum but this is not acceptable, imagine if you entered your book into a contest, being promised a genuine review and all you get was 2 sentences stating you need to work on things. What do you need to work on? What aspects need improving? You'll never know because it wasn't included in the review. Put yourself in the authors shoes when making your remarks, what would you want to know from a review?

The ONLY time you may have a 2 sentence review is when a book has a score of 100 and is perfect in every way.

I am looking for a review that gives detail on what the author needs to improve upon and what they are already doing well within the book. You can be as detailed as you like, in fact, I have many judges that have ESSAYS for the review because they care that much about giving a good review. You don't have to write essays but 2 sentences are not acceptable.
